When trouble arises
Indicates that one or more of the doors is not fully
closed
The system also indicates which doors are not
fully closed.
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph),
a buzzer sounds to indicate that the door(s) are
not yet fully closed.
Make sure that all the doors are closed.
Indicates that the hood is not fully closed
Close the hood.
Indicates that the back door is not fully closed
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph),
a buzzer sounds to indicate that the back door is
not yet fully closed.
Close the back door.
(If equipped)
Indicates a malfunction in the Lexus parking assist-
sensor
All the sensor lights flash.
A buzzer also sounds.
Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized
Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly quali-
fied and equipped professional.

If this continues, the hybrid system may overheat.
Release the accelerator pedal and depress the
brake pedal.
Indicates that the traction battery power has
dropped because a long period of time has elapsed
after shifting the shift position to N

Restart the hybrid system when starting the vehi-
cle.

time, shift the shift position to P. The battery
cannot be charged with the shift position in N.
Indicates that the vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h
(3 mph) or more with the parking brake still
engaged

When trouble arises
Indicates that the P position switch is pressed while
the vehicle is running.
The shift position automatically changed to N.
A buzzer also sounds.
To shift the shift position to P, stop the vehicle
completely and press the P position switch.
To continue driving, shift the shift position to D
or R.
Indicates a malfunction in the P position control
system
In this situation, there is a possibility that the
parking lock mechanism will not work.
When parking, park the vehicle on a flat surface
and apply the parking brake securely. Also, it
may not be possible to turn the power switch off.
If this happens, applying the parking brake will
enable the switch to be turned off.
A buzzer also sounds.
Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized
Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly quali-
fied and equipped professional.

Indicates that the radar cruise control sensor is dirty
or covered with ice

• The cruise control system; or
• The dynamic radar cruise control system
Press the “ON-OFF” button once to deactivate
the system, and then press the button again to
reactivate the system.

fied and equipped professional.

tem

Indicates that the pre-crash safety system is not cur-
rently functional because the grille cover or the sen-
sor is dirty
This message also appears when the pre-crash
safety system is not functional due to overheat-
ing.
Check the grille cover and the sensor and clean
them if they are dirty.
In case of overheating, the system will become
functional once the system cools down.
Indicates that the EV drive mode is not available*The reason the EV drive mode is not available
(the vehicle is idling, battery charge is low, speed
