NOTE: When using the ISOFIX
attaching system to install a child
restraint, please ensure that all
seat belts not being used for occu-
pant restraints are stowed and out
of reach of children. It is recom-
mended that before installing the
child restraint, buckle the seat belt
so the seat belt is tucked behind
the child restraint and out of
reach. If the buckled seat belt in-
terferes with the child restraint in-
stallation, instead of tucking the
seat belt behind the child re-
straint, route the seat belt through
the child restraint belt path and
then buckle it. This should stow
the seat belt out of the reach of an
inquisitive child. Remind all chil-
dren in the vehicle that the seat
belts are not toys and should not be
played with, and never leave your
child unattended in the vehicle.Installing The ISOFIX-
Compatible Child Restraint
System
We urge you to carefully follow the
directions of the manufacturer when
installing your child restraint. Not all
child restraint systems will be in-
stalled as described here. Again, care-
fully follow the installation instruc-
tions that were provided with the
child restraint system.
The rear seat lower anchor-
ages are round bars, located
at the rear of the seat cush-
ion where it meets the seat-
back, and are just visible when you
lean into the rear seat to install the
child restraint. You will easily feel
them if you run your finger along the
intersection of the seatback and seat
cushion surfaces.
In addition, there are tether
strap anchorages behind
each rear seating position.
Access ports to the tether an-
chors are located in the panel between
the rear seat and the rear window. The
tether anchors are underneath access covers in the carpet covering the back of
the seat where you see this symbol.
Many, but not all, restraint systems
will be equipped with separate straps
on each side, with each having a hook
or connector for attachment to the
lower anchorage and a means of ad-
justing the tension in the strap.
Forward-facing toddler restraints and
some rear-facing infant restraints will
also be equipped with a tether strap, a
hook for attachment to the tether
strap anchorage and a means of ad-
justing the tension of the strap.
You will first loosen the child seat
adjusters on the lower straps and on
the tether strap so that you can more
easily attach the hooks or connectors
to the vehicle anchorages. Next, at-
tach the lower hooks or connectors
over the top of the seat cover material.
Then, rotate the tether anchorage
cover directly behind the seat where
you are placing the child restraint,
push the tether strap and hook
through the access port and down into
the trunk. Open the access cover on
the carpet covering the back of the
seat and attach the tether strap hook

the vehicle. Always stow the
TIREFIT kit in the place pro-
vided. Failure to follow these
warnings can result in injuries
that are serious or fatal to you,
your passengers, and others
around you.
Take care not to allow the con- tents of TIREFIT to come in con-
tact with hair, eyes, or clothing.
TIREFIT is harmful if inhaled,
swallowed, or absorbed through
the skin: It causes skin, eye, and
respiratory irritation. Flush im-
mediately with plenty of water if
there is any contact with eyes or
skin. Change clothing as soon as
possible, if there is any contact
with clothing.
TIREFIT Sealant solution con-
tains latex. In case of allergic re-
action or rash, consult a physi-
cian immediately. Keep TIREFIT
out of reach of children. If swal-
lowed, rinse mouth immediately
with plenty of water and drink

Use the gloves provided in the Accessory Storage Compartment
(located on the bottom of the air
pump) when operating the TIRE-
FIT kit.
SEALING A TIRE WITH
TIREFIT
If the sealant (white fluid) does
flow through the Sealant Hose (6):
1.Continue to operate the pump until
sealant is no longer flowing through
hose (typically takes 30 - 70 seconds).
As the sealant flows through the Sealant
Hose (6), the Pressure Gauge (3) can
read as high as 5 Bar. The Pressure
Gauge (3) will decrease quickly from
approximately 70 psi (5 Bar) to the
actual tire pressure when the Sealant
Bottle (1) is empty.
2. The pump will start to inject air
into the tire immediately after the
Sealant Bottle (1) is empty. Continue
to operate the pump and inflate the
tire to the pressure indicated on the
tire pressure label on the driver-side
latch pillar (recommended pressure).
Check the tire pressure by looking at
the Pressure Gauge (3).If the tire does not inflate to at least
1.8 Bar pressure within 15 minutes: The tire is too badly damaged. Do
not attempt to drive the vehicle fur-
ther. Call for assistance.
NOTE: If the tire becomes over-
inflated, press the Deflation But-
ton to reduce the tire pressure to
the recommended inflation pres-
sure before continuing.
If the tire inflates to the recom-
mended pressure or is at least 1.8
Bar pressure within 15 minutes:
1. Press the Power Button (4) to turn
off the TIREFIT kit.

Proper towing or lifting equipment is
required to prevent damage to your
vehicle. Use only tow bars and other
equipment designed for this purpose,
following equipment manufacturer’s
instructions. Use of safety chains is
mandatory. Attach a tow bar or other
towing device to main structural
members of the vehicle, not to bum-
pers or associated brackets. State and
local laws regarding vehicles under
tow must be observed.
If you must use the accessories (wipers,
defrosters, etc.) while being towed, the
ignition must be in the ON/RUN posi-
tion, not the ACC position.If the vehicle's battery is discharged,
see "Shift Lever Override" in "What
To Do In Emergencies" for instruc-
tions on shifting the automatic trans-
mission out of PARK for towing.
CAUTION!
Do not use sling type equipment when towing. Damage to the fas-
cia will occur.
When securing the vehicle to a
flatbed truck, do not attach to
front or rear suspension compo-
nents. Damage to your vehicle
may result from improper towing.
Do not push or tow this vehicle with another vehicle as damage to
the bumper fascia and transmis-
sion may result.
