Once the "Options" menu has been selected,
you can star t diagnostics of the status of the equipment (active, not active, faulty).
Language
Once the "Language" menu has been selected, you can change the language used
by the display
(Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe, Deutsch, English, Espanol).
Display adjust
Once the "Display adjust" menu has been selected, you can gain access to the following settings:
- year,
- month,
- day,
- hour,
- minutes,
-
12 or 24 hour mode.
Units
Once the "Units" menu has been selected, you can change the units of the followingparameters:
- temperature (°C or °F),
- fuel consumption (l/10 0km, mpg or km/l).

Once you have selected a setting, press
the "OK"button to change its value.
) Wait for approximately ten seconds without
any action to allow the changed data to be
recorded or press the "Back"
button to cancel.
The screen then returns to the normal display.
Once the "Vehicle configuration" menu has
been selected, you can activate or deactivate
the following equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer to the"Visibility" section),
- "guide-me-home" lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section).
For safety reasons, configuration of the multifunction screen by the driver mustonly be done when stationary.
Once the fuel consumption unit hasbeen changed to mpg, the information relating to speed and distance also changes to miles.

Tr ip computer, a few definitions
When the range falls below 20 miles (30 km),
dashes are displayed. After filling with at least5 litres of fuel, the range is recalculated and is
displayed when it exceeds 60 miles (10 0 km).
Range

Comfort

The air conditioning only operates when the engine is running.
The driver and
front passenger can
each adjust the temperature to their
requirements.
)Turn control 2or 3 to the left or to the right
respectively to decrease or increase this value. A setting around the value 21 provides
optimum comfor t. However, depending on your requirements, a setting between 18 and 24 isnormal.
You are advised to avoid a left / right settingdifference of more than 3.
Automatic operation
)Press the "AUTO"button. The indicator lamp in the button comes on.
2. Driver's side adjustment
Dual-zone digital air conditioning
We recommend the use of this mode: it permitsautomatic and optimised adjustment of all
of the functions, passenger compartment
temperature, air flow, air distribution and air
recirculation, in accordance with the comfort
value that you have chosen.
This system is designed to operate effectively in all seasons, with the windows closed. The value indicated on the displa
y corresponds
to a level of comfor t and not to a temperature in
de
grees Celsius or Fahrenheit.

3. Passenger's side adjustment
On entering the vehicle, if the interior temperature is much colder or warmer than the comfort value, there is noneed to change the value displayed in order to obtain the comfort required. The system corrects the difference in temperature automatically and asquickly as possible.
When the engine is cold, to prevent too great a distribution of cold air, the air flow will reach its optimum levelgradually. In cold weather, it favours the distribution of warm air to thewindscreen, side windows and footwells only.

Window controls System which opens or closes a window manually or automatically. It is fitted with anti-pinch protection if an obstacle is detected on the one-touchmodels and a deactivation system to prevent misuse of the rear switches on all models.

One-touch electric windows
There are two methodsof operation:

opens or closes completely when theswitch is released. )Pressing the switch again stops themovement of the window.
The electric window switches remain operational for approximately 45 seconds after the ignition is switchedoff or until a front door is opened.

Foglamp selection ring.
The foglamps operate with the dipped and main
beam headlamps. When the lighting is switched off automatically (with AUTO model) or when the dipped
headlamps are switched off manually, thefoglamps and sidelamps will remain on.
) Turn the ring rear wards to switch off
the foglamps, the sidelamps will then switch off.
In good or rainy weather, by both dayand night, the front foglamps and the rear foglamp are prohibited. In thesesituations, the power of their beamsmay dazzle other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front foglamps and the rear foglamp whenthey are no longer necessary.

- in energy economy mode,approximately thirty seconds,
- with the engine running, unlimited.

This comes on automatically when the boot is
opened and goes off automatically when the boot is closed.
Torch
This is a removable lamp, fitted in the side of
the boot, which can be used to illuminate the boot or as a torch.
Boot lamp
Use
)Extract the torch from its location by pullingit from the front. )Press the switch, located on the back, to switch the torch on or off. )Unfold the suppor t, located on the back, toset down and raise the torch; for example,
when changing a wheel.
Storing
)Put the torch back in place in its location starting with the rear.
If you have forgotten to switch off the torch,
this switches it off automatically.
It the torch is not engaged correctly, it may notcharge and may not come on when the boot is
opened.
Operation
This torch operates with NiMH typerechargeable batteries.
It has a batter
y life of approximately 45 minutes
and charges while you are driving.
The lighting time varies according to the circumstances:
- when the ignition is off, approximately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode,approximately thirty seconds,
- when the engine is running, no limit.
Observe the polarities when fitting the batteries. Never replace the rechargeablebatteries with single-use batteries.
