Warning lamp
is

Solution - action
ESP flashing. that it is in operation.
on. its malfunction or failure of the
hill start assist.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Refer to the "Driving safety" section of chapter 5.
a fault with the Intelligent
Traction Control.
Anti-pollution on. the regeneration of the particle
emissions filter. It is recommended that you leave the engine running
until the warning lamp goes off so that regeneration can
be completed. Section 7, "Checks".
Emission control
system on. a fault with the system. Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer
without delay.
Deactivation
of the front
passenger
airbag on. the intentional deactivation of
this airbag when a rear facing
child seat is installed. Configure via the trip computer MODE menu. Refer to
the "Mode" section of chapter 4.
Electronic
immobiliser on. the ignition key inserted is not
recognised.
The vehicle cannot be started. Use another key and have the faulty key checked by
a PEUGEOT dealer. Refer to the "Access" section of
chapter 2.
Front brake
pads on. brake pad wear. Have the pads replaced by a PEUGEOT dealer.

Trip computer

The TRIP
button, located at the end of the
wiper stalk, provides access to the following
information:


- Ambient temperature
This indicates the temperature outside
the vehicle.

- Range
This indicates the distance that can still
be travelled with the fuel remaining in
the tank on the basis of the average
consumption over the last few miles
(kilometres) travelled.
- Average speed A
This is the average speed calculated
since the last trip computer zero reset
(with the ignition on).

- Trip duration A
This indicates the total time since the
last trip recorder zero reset.
- Distance A
This indicates the distance travelled
since the last trip computer zero reset.

- Average fuel consumption A
This is the average quantity of fuel
consumed since the last trip computer
zero reset.

- Current fuel consumption A
This is the average quantity of fuel
consumed during the last few seconds.

SAFETY


Child safety


Refer to chapter 5, "Airbags" section.
The child seats function and the
passenger airbag deactivation function
are common to the entire PEUGEOT range.
If the passenger airbag is not deactivated,
the installation of a "rearwards-facing" child
seat in the front is strictly prohibited.
If your vehicle is fitted with this function, the
passenger airbag must be deactivated using
the trip computer MODE button.

The rules for carrying children are
specific to each country. Consult the
current legislation in your country.
Please consult the list of seats approved
in your country. The Isofix mountings, the
rear seats, the passenger airbag and the
deactivation of this airbag depend on the
version sold.

Passenger airbag OFF

Refer to the advice given on the label
present on both sides of the passenger's
sun visor.

To assure the safety of your child, you must
deactivate the passenger's front airbag when
you install a child seat in the rearwards
facing position on the front passenger's seat.
Otherwise, there is a risk that the child could
be seriously injured or killed if the airbag
were deployed.
