Boot
)After unlocking the vehicle completely using the remote control or the key, pressat the top (on lever A), and raise the Atailgate.



From the inside

Hold this button down until unlocking of the boot is heard.

)Lower the tailgate using the interior grabhandle.

If the tailgate is not closed correctly, with
the hybrid system active
or the vehicle moving
(speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)),
a message appears in the instrument panel screen for a few seconds.

obstacle to closing causes the tailgate to stopand rise a few centimetres automatically.To close the tailgate manually: move the
tailgate slightly up then down to disengage itfrom its drive then lower it until closed.
To avoid the risk of injury, ensure
that no one is close to the rear of thevehicle when opening or closing the tailgate.

While electric opening or closing of the tailgate
is in progress, you can stop its movement at
an
y time: ) press the interior button or button A
on
the remote control or button Bor C on thetailgate.

With the hybrid system active or when the
vehicle is moving, if the tailgate is not properly closed, a message accompanied by an audiblesignal (from 6 mph (10 km/h)) is displayed in the instrument panel screen.
The maximum openin
g height of the tailgate
can be set and memorised (restricted overheadclearance, ...).
This memorisation is done in two steps, bysuccessive presses on button C
:


- durin
g opening, a first press stops the
tailgate at the desired height,

- a second maintained press memorises theposition of the tailgate; an audible signal confirms the memorisation.
To delete this memorisation, make a new
maintained press until the audible signal isheard.

Rear seats
Outer rear seat head restraints
These have a high position (comfor t and safety), a low position (rear visibility) and canalso be removed.
T
o remove a head restraint:)pull the head restraint fully upwards, )then, press the lug A.
Never drive with rear passengers whenthe head restraints are removed; thehead restraints must be in place and in
the high position.


Folding the seat from the
boot
Each section of the bench seat (1/3 or 2/3) has
its own control to release the seat back and its seat cushion from the boot.
) Check that nothing is preventing the seat
back from foldin
g (head restraint, seat
belts, ...),) check also that no object on or under theseat could hinder its movement,
)pull the control from the boot and push the
seat backrest.

Peugeot Connect USB
This connection box, consisting of a JACKauxiliary socket and a USB port, is located in
the front armrest (under the cover).
It permits the connection of por table device,
such as a di
gital audio player of the iPod® type®
or a USB memory stick.
It reads the audio file formats (MP3, OGG,WMA, WAV, ...) which are transmitted to your audio equipment and played via the vehicle's
speakers.
You can mana
ge these files using the steeringmounted controls or the audio system control
panel and display them in the instrument panel screen.
When the USB por t is used, the por table device
charges automatically.

Fan cooling of the high voltage battery


This system does not work continuously,
but adapts the force of the fan cooling to the
requirements of the battery.
Its operation can be heard at the rear, even if
the vehicle is stopped after a run.
If the air intake is blocked, the battery mayoverheat, damaging the battery and causing a
loss of per formance of the hybrid system. The hi
gh voltage battery has an air coolingsystem, comprising an air intake (located on
the rear shelf) and a fan (located behind the
boot trim).
For the best use of the high voltage battery, please follow these recommendations: - do not obstruct the air intake with loose ar ticles, other wise, thebattery may overheat, causing a loss of per formance of the hybrid system - do not spill fluids, as this may cause damage to the battery.

Warning triangle (stowing)

Before leaving your vehicle to set up and install the triangle, put on your high visibility vest.

The dimensions o
f the triangle (once folded) or its storage box must be:
