E00403301439 WARNING
l Driving
without the head restraints in
place can cause you and your passengers
serious injury or death in an accident. To
reduce the risk of injury in an accident, al-
ways make sure the head restraints are in-
stalled and properly positioned when the
seat is occupied.
l Never place a cushion or similar device
on the seatback. This can adversely affect
head restraint performance by increasing
the distance between your head and the
restraint.
To adjust height
Adjust
the head restraint height so that the centre
of the head restraint is as close as possible to eye
level to reduce the chances of injury in the event of
collision. Any person too tall for the head restraint
to reach their seated eye level, should adjust the re-
straint as high as possible. To raise the head restraint, move it upward. To low-
er
the restraint, move it downward while pushing
the height adjusting knob (A) in the direction of the
arrow. After adjustment, push the head restraint
downward and make sure that it is locked. To remove
To
remove the head restraints, lift the head re-
straint with the height adjusting knob (A) pushed in. Seat and seat belts

Installing a child restraint system to
the lower anchorage (ISOFIX child re-
straint mountings) and tether anchor-
age
E00406900774
Lower anchorage location
Your
vehicle’s rear seat is fitted with lower ancho-
rages for attaching a child restraint system with ISO-
FIX mountings. Tether anchorage locations
There
are 2 child restraint anchorage points located
on the back of the rear seatbacks. These are for fas-
tening the child restraint tether straps to the 2 rear
seat seating positions. WARNING
l Child
restraint anchorages are designed
to withstand only those loads imposed by
correctly fitted child restraints. Under no
circumstances are they to be used for
adult seat belts, harnesses, or for attach-
ing other items or equipment to the vehicle.
Child restraint system with ISOFIX mountings
The
child restraint system is designed only for
seats that incorporate lower anchorages. Retain the
child restraint system using the lower anchorages. It is not necessary to retain the child restraint sys-
tem using the vehicle’s seat belts.
A- Child restraint system connectors
To install 1. Remove
any foreign material in or around
the connectors and ensure the vehicle seat
belt is in its normal storage position.
2. Open the gap a little between the seat cush- ion (A) and the seatback (B) with your hand
to locate the lower anchorages (C).
3. Push the child restraint system’s connectors (D) into the lower anchorages (C) in accord-

WARNING
l Stop jacking up the vehicle as soon as the
tyre is raised off the ground. It is danger-
ous to raise the vehicle any higher.
l Do not get under your vehicle while using
the jack.
l Do not bump the raised vehicle or leave it
sitting on the jack for a long time. Both
are very dangerous.
l Do not use a jack except the one that
came with your vehicle.
l The jack should not be used for any pur-
pose other than to change a tyre.
l No one should be in your vehicle when us-
ing the jack.
l Do not start or run the engine while your
vehicle is on the jack.
l Do not turn the raised wheel. The tyres
still on the ground could turn and make
your vehicle fall off the jack.
5. Remove
the wheel nuts with the wheel nut wrench, then take the wheel off. CAUTION
l
Handle
the wheel carefully when chang-
ing the tyre, to avoid scratching the wheel
surface.
6. Clean
out any mud, etc. on the hub surface (F), hub bolts (G) or in the installation holes
(H) in the wheel, and then mount the spare
tyre. WARNING
l Be
sure to position the tyres the correct
way when putting them on the vehicle.
The valves should be on the outer side of
the vehicle. If the valve (I) cannot be seen,
the tyre has been mounted the wrong way
around.
If tyres are mounted the wrong way
around it could have a negative effect on
the vehicle and cause an accident. 7. Turn
the wheel nuts clockwise by hand to in-
itially tighten them.
[Vehicle with the tapered nuts]
Initially tighten the wheel nuts until the ta-
pered part (A) of the nuts lightly touches the
wheel hole seats (B) enough to keep the tyre
from wobbling. [Vehicle with the flange nuts]
