- REGION (REGION MENU indication is
possible with RDS MENU)
Selects whether REGION code is used
(ON) or not (OFF) once the radio deter-
mines the AF jump condition. If AUTO isselected, AF jump condition is deter-mined automatically via PI reception sta-
tus.
- TA VOL (TA VOL MENU indication is possible with RDS MENU)
Adjusts the TA (Traffic Announcement)
volume level according to normal audio
volume level. - Time
Select this item to enter “Automatic Time
setting” mode (Auto, manual). ❋ Auto is Automatic RDS Time.

Select this item to enter Clock setup
mode. (12/24Hr., Auto, Time)

8. Button & Knob
Turns on/off the set when the IGNITION
SWITCH is on ACC or ON. If the knob is
turned to the right, it increases the vol-

Using CD Player
1. Button
If there is a CD in the CD DECK it switch-
es to CD mode.
If there is no CD, then the message “NO
DISC” will become displayed on the LCD
for 3 seconds and returns to the previous
mode.
2. CD eject Button
Push button to eject the CD. This but-
ton is enabled when ignition switch is off.
3. Button
Plays first 10 sec of each song in the
DISC.
To cancel the mode, press the key once again. 4. CD slot

gently push in. When the ignition switch
is on ACC or ON and power is off, power
is automatically turned on if the CD is
loaded. This CDP support only 12 cm
CD. But if VCD, Data CD loaded,"Reading Error" message will appearand CD will be ejected.
5. CD-IN Indicator
When car ignition switch is ACC or ON and if the CD is loaded, this indicator is
lighted. If the CD is ejected the light is
turned off.
6. Button
Displays the information of the current
CD TRACK in the order of DISC TITLE

7. Button
Push button to play from thebeginning of current song.
Push button and press again within 1 sec to play the previous song.
In case of keep pressing, track goes down continually.
Push button to play the next song.
In case of keep pressing, track gose up continually.
8. Button (Fast Forward)
Push and hold the button, more than
0.8sec : play the operation of FF on the
current TRACK. 9. Button (RANDOM)
Turns on/off the randomization of the
play list of files in the currently played
DISC.
To cancel the mode, press the key onceagain.
10. Button (Fast Rewind)
Push and hold the button, more than
0.8sec : play the operation of REW on
the current TRACK.
11. Button (REPEAT)
Repeats current song when the button is
pressed for less than 0.8 sec.
Repeats the entire DISC when the button
is pressed for 0.8 sec or longer.
If CD has folders in it, repeat current fold-
er instead of entire DISC when the button
is pressed for more than 0.8 sec.12. Button (FOLDER)
Moves button child folder of the
current folder and displays the first
song in the folder. Press
/ knob to move to the folder
displayed.
It will play the first song in the folder.
Moves button Parent folder and displays the first song in the folder.
Press / knob to move
to the folder displayed. It will play the
first song in the folder.
13. Knob & Button
Turn this knob clockwise to display songs after current song.
Also, turn this knob counterclockwise to
display songs before current song.
To listen to the displayed song, press the
knob to skip to the song and play.

CAUTION IN USING
USB DEVICE
To use an external USB device, make sure the device is not con-nected when starting up the vehi-cle. Connect the device afterstarting up.
If you start the engine when the USB device is connected, it maydamage the USB device. (USBflashdrives are very sensitive to
electric shock.)
If the engine is started up or turned off while the external USBdevice is connected, the externalUSB device may not work.
It may not play inauthentic MP3 or WMA files.
1) It can only play MP3 files with the compression rate between8Kbps~320Kbps.
2) It can only play WMA music files with the compression ratebetween 8Kbps~320Kbps.
Take precautions for static elec- tricity when connecting or dis-connecting the external USB
device.

Depending on the condition of the external USB device, the con-
nected external USB device can be unrecognizable.
When the formatted byte/sector setting of External USB device isnot either 512BYTE or 2048BYTE,
then the device will not be recog- nized.
Use only a USB device formatted to FAT 12/16/32.
USB devices without USB I/F authentication may not be recog-nizable.
Make sure the USB connection terminal does not come in con-tact with the human body or other
objects.
If you repeatedly connect or dis- connect the USB device in a shortperiod of time, it may break thedevice.
You may hear a strange noise when connecting or disconnect-ing a USB device.

malfunction. Therefore, discon-nect the external USB device when the audio is turned off or in

ference in the time taken forrecognition of the device.
Do not use the USB device for purposes other than playingmusic files.
Use of USB accessories such as rechargers or heaters using USBI/F may lower performance orcause trouble.
If you use devices such as a USB hub purchased separately, thevehicle’s audio system may not recognize the USB device. In thatcase, connect the USB device
directly to the multimedia termi- nal of the vehicle.

If the USB device is divided by logical drives, only the music fileson the highest-priority drive arerecognized by car audio.
Devices such as MP3 Player/ Cellular phone/Digital camera canbe unrecognizable by standardUSB I/F can be unrecognizable.
Some non-standard USB devices (METAL COVER TYPE USB) canbe unrecognizable.
Some USB flash memory readers (such as CF, SD, microSD, etc.) orexternal-HDD type devices can be
unrecognizable.
Music files protected by DRM (DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGE-MENT) are not recognizable.
The data in the USB memory may be lost while using this audio.Always back up important data ona personal storage device.

Using USB device
