WARNING
Driving while distracted can result inloss of vehicle control, accident andinjury. We strongly recommend thatyou use extreme caution when using anydevice or feature that may take your focusoff the road. Your primary responsibility isthe safe operation of your vehicle. Werecommend against the use of anyhandheld device while driving and that youcomply with all applicable laws.
Note:The information display will remainon for several minutes after you switch theignition off.
Various systems on your vehicle can becontrolled using the information displaycontrols on your audio unit. Correspondinginformation is displayed in the informationdisplay.

Information Display Controls
To use the controls:
•Press the up and down arrow buttonsto scroll through and highlight theoptions within a menu.
•Press the right arrow button to enter asub-menu.
•Press the left arrow button to exit amenu.
•Press and hold the left arrow button atany time to return to the main menudisplay (escape button).
•Press the OK button to choose andconfirm settings or messages.

After you switch the ignition off the powersupply will only work for a maximum of 30minutes.Note:Do not insert objects other than anaccessory plug into the power point. Thiswill damage the outlet and blow the fuse.
Note:Do not hang any type of accessory oraccessory bracket from the plug.
Note:Do not use the power point foroperating a cigar lighter element.
Note:Incorrect use of the power point cancause damage not covered by yourwarranty.
Note:Always keep the power point capsclosed when not in use.
Run the engine for full capacity use of thepower point. To prevent the battery fromlosing charge:
•Do not use the power point longer thannecessary when the engine is notrunning.
•Do not leave devices plugged inovernight or when the vehicle is parkedfor extended periods.
Location
Power points may be found:
•on the rear of the centre console
•on the centre console.
CIGAR LIGHTER
Note:Do not hold the cigar lighter elementpressed in.
Note:If you use the socket when the engineis not running, the battery may lose charge.
Note:When you switch the ignition on, youcan use the socket to power 12 voltappliances with a maximum current ratingof 20 amps.
Note:After you switch the ignition off thepower supply will only work for a maximumof 30 minutes.
Note:Use only Ford accessory connectorsor connectors specified for use with SAEstandard sockets.
Press the element in to use the cigarlighter. It will pop out automatically.

1.Remove the kit from the wrapping.
2.Peel off the label A showing themaximum permissible speed of50 mph (80 km/h) from the sealantbottle and attach it to the instrumentpanel in the driver’s field of view. Makesure the label does not obscureanything important.
3.Take the hose H with the pressure reliefvalve I and the power plug with cableF out of the kit.
4.Connect the hose H with the pressurerelief valve I to the sealant bottle B.
5.Engage the sealant bottle B into thebottle holder D.
6.Remove the valve cap from thedamaged tyre.
7.Screw the sealant bottle hose C firmlyonto the valve of the damaged tyre.
8.Make sure that the compressor switchG is in position 0.
9.Insert the power plug F into the cigarlighter socket or auxiliary power socket.See Cigar Lighter (page 81). SeeAuxiliary Power Points (page 81).
10.Start the engine.
11.Move the compressor switch G toposition 1.
12.Inflate the tyre for no longer than 10minutes to an inflation pressure ofminimum 26 psi (1.8 bar) and amaximum of 51 psi (3.5 bar). Movethe compressor switch G to position0 and check the current tyre pressurewith pressure gauge E.
Note:If a tyre pressure of 26 psi (1.8 bar)is not reached do not continue.
Note:When pumping in the sealant throughthe tyre valve, the pressure may rise up to87 psi (6 bar) but will drop again after about30 seconds.
13.Remove the power plug F from thecigar lighter socket or auxiliary powersocket.
14.Quickly unscrew the hose C from thetyre valve. Fasten the valve cap again.
15.Leave the sealant bottle B in thebottle holder D.
16.Make sure the kit is stored safely, butstill easily accessible in your vehicle.The kit will be required again whenyou check the tyre pressure.
17.Immediately drive approximatelytwo miles (three kilometres) so thatthe sealant can seal the damagedarea.
WARNING
If you experience heavy vibrations,unsteady steering behavior or noiseswhile driving, reduce your speed anddrive with caution to a place where it issafe for you to stop your vehicle. Recheckthe tyre and its pressure. If the tyrepressure is less than 14.7 psi (1 bar) or ifthere are any cracks, bumps or similardamage visible, do not continue drivingwith this tyre.

Sound Button
This will allow you to adjust the soundsettings (for example bass, middle andtreble).
1.Press the SOUND button.
2.Use the up and down arrow buttons toselect the required setting.
3.Use the left and right arrow buttons tomake the necessary adjustment. Thedisplay indicates the level selected.
4.Press the OK button to confirm thenew settings.
Waveband Button
Press the RADIO button to select from thewavebands available.
You can use the selector to return to radioreception when you have been listening toanother source.
Alternatively, press the left arrow buttonto display the available wavebands. Scrollto the required waveband and press OK.
Station Tuning Control
Seek Tuning
Select a waveband and briefly press oneof the seek buttons. The unit will stop atthe first station it finds in the direction youhave chosen.
Manual Tuning
1.Press the MENU button.
2.Select RADIO mode and thenMANUAL TUNE.
3.Use the left and right arrow buttons totune down or up the waveband in smallincrements or press and hold toincrement quickly, until you find astation you want to listen to.
4.Press OK to continue listening to astation.
Scan Tuning
Scan allows you to listen to a few secondsof each station detected.
1.Press the MENU button.
2.Select RADIO mode and then SCAN.
3.Use the seek buttons to scan up ordown the selected waveband.
4.Press OK to continue listening to astation.
Station Preset Buttons
This feature allows you to store yourfavourite stations, they can be recalled byselecting the appropriate waveband andpressing one of the preset buttons.
1.Select a waveband.
2.Tune to the station required.
