UNDER THE BONNET
FUSEBOX
To access the fusebox in the enginecompartment, undo each screw a
1/4 turn.
After a re
pair, take care to reclose
the cover.
All work on the MAXI fuses, located in the fuseboxes, whichprovide additional protection, must be done by a CITROËN dealer ,,
or a qualifi ed workshop.

CHANGING BULBS
2.Use a tool to detach the twolugs holding the lens.
3.Without touching the seal,
disengage the lamp unit
upwards and orient it so
that the bulbs are pointingoutwards.5.
Reposition the lens, fi rst
inserting the pin furthest forward, then push.Make sure that the rear screen seals and the lamp units arecorrectly located.
6. Secure the two lugs.
4.Replace bulbs that are faulty.

ROOF BARS
Do not exceed the maximum permittedload.
For the maximum distributed load on theroof bars: see the chapter "General".
Recommendations:Spread the load evenly, avoiding overloading onone side.
Position the heaviest weight as low down as pos-sible.Tie the load down securely and add warning signs
if it is protruding.
Drive conservatively, as the vehicle will be more
vulnerable to side winds.
The stability of your vehicle may be altered.
Remove the roof rack or roof bars when you are
not using them.

CHANGING A WHEEL
ACCESS TO THE SPARE WHEEL
To access the spare wheel1.Lift the boot fl oor by means of the strap.2.Anchor the strap on the roof of the boot.3.To remove the spare wheel, detach the belt then push the wheelforwards so as to be able to lift it.
TO REPOSITION THE SPARE WHEEL
To put the spare wheel back in the boot1.Position the spare wheel fl at in the boot, then pull it towards you.2.Next place the toolbox inside the wheel, then secure the assembly with
the belt.3.Release the strap to return the boot fl oor to its initial position.
Tyre pressures
Tyre pressures are indicated on the label which is positioned low down on
the front pillar. See "Vehicle identifi cation" and "User Precautions". (On this label you will see a pressure for normal speeds and a pressure for high speeds).

It is imperative not to exceed a speed of 80 km/h (50 mph) onthe spare wheel.
The wheel bolts are specifi c to the type of wheel.
When replacing wheels, check with a CITROËN dealer or aqualifi ed workshop that the wheel bolts are compatible withthe new wheels.
Note: take care to note down the code number engraved on thehead of the anti-theft bolt socket. This will enable you to obtainreplacement anti-theft bolt sockets from a dealership.
WHEEL FOR TEMPORARY USE
If your vehicle is equipped with aspare wheel for temporary use
only, when fi tting it it is normal toobserve that the wheel bolts do notcome to bear on the wheel rim.
The spare wheel is secured by theconical tapering of the wheel bolt’sshaft. See illustration.
When refi tting the original wheel,ensure that the wheel bolt contactsurfaces are clean and in goodcondition.
REFITTING A WHEEL1. Fit the wheel on the hub,using the centring guide. Make sure that the contact surface between the hub and the wheel
is clean.2. Screw in the bolts but do not
fully tighten them.3. Lower the jack and remove it.4. Tighten the wheel bolts, usingthe wheelbrace.
5. Refi t the embellisher.
6. Return the ground clearance
to the normal position. See "Ground clearance adjustment".7.Ensure the tyre pressure
is correct (see "Vehicle
identifi cation") and have the balancing checked.
WHEEL EQUIPPED WITH DEFLATIONDETECTION SENSOR
Such wheels have tyre pressuresensors. Have it repaired by aCITROËN dealer or a qualifi edpy
workshop.
ANTI-THEFT BOLTS
Each wheel is equipped with oneanti-theft bolt.
To remove it1. Remove the protector that is covering it by means of the
tool 4 for "removing anti-theft protectors".2. Use the anti-theft socket with
the handle.
