anti-corrosiontreatmentisvery impor­
tant,particularlyinthewinter.Ifthevehicle
isfrequentlydriven onsalttreatedroads,the
entireenginecompartmentandplenumpanel
shouldbethoroughlycleanedattheendof
winterandretreatedtopreventsaltdamage.
Atthesametime,theundersideofthevehicle
shouldbewashedaswell.
Iftheenginecompartmentiscleanedatany
timewithgreaseremovingsolutionslJ
,orif~
yOuhavetheenginewashed,theanti-corro­
siontreatmentisalmostalwaysremovedas
well.Itisthereforeessentialtohave along­
lasting corrosion
protectionreappliedtoall
surfaces,
seams,jointsandcomponentsinthe
enginecompartment.
