When the child safety locks are activated, the
inside door handles do not work and the doors
can only be opened from the outside.
Power child safety lock for the rear
doors
App lies to vehicles: with power child safety lock in the
rear doo rs
The power child safety lock t prevents the
rear doors from being opened from the in­
side.

The fol low ing features are swi tched off:
- The interior doo r handles in the rea r doors,
- The power wi ndows in the rear doors,
- The buttons for the sun shade* in the rear
wi ndow,
- The buttons for the power sun shades* in
the side windows,
- The front passenger power seat adjust­
ment* b utton (by press ing the right button
[±]) .
In order to activate the child safety lock on
the left and the right side, press the two safe­
ty buttons [±] in succession.

Opening the windows
• Press the switch to the fir st s top and ho ld it
until the window reaches the desired posi­
tion .
• Press t he switch briefly to the
se cond stop
to automatically open the w indow.
Closing the windows
• Pull the switch to the fir st stop and hold it
until the window reaches the desired posi­
tion.
• Pull the switch br iefly to the
s econd stop to
automatically close the w indow.

Child safety lock
When the safe ty button ® c> fig. 29 is press­
ed, the LED in the button lights up. The fo l­
lowing features are switched off:
- The power w indows in the rear doo rs,

instrument cluste r illuminates when the
high beams are on.
- T he
headlight flash er works only as long as
yo u hold the lever - even if there are no
l ights turned on . The ind icator light

the instrument cluster i lluminates when you
use the headlight flasher.
A WARNING
Do not use the high beam or headlight
flasher if you know that these could blind
oncoming traffic.

turns on automatica lly when you unlock the
vehicle, open a door or switch the ignition off.
The interior lighting turns off several seconds after you close the doors , when you lock the
vehicle or when you switch the ignition on .
When a door is open, the light t urns off afte r
a few minutes .
