NOTESSpecial notes:
If DF130, the engine may stop with the level 1 and 2 warning lights illuminated along
with the message Faulty injection.
Conditions for applying fault finding procedures to stored faults:
The fault is present with the engine running.
Check the connection and condition of the of the fuel flow actuator connector (IMV), and repair it if necessary.
Measure the resistance between tracks 1 and 2 of the flow actuator.
Replace the flow actuator if the resistance is not 5.3 Ω ± 0.5 Ω at 20°C.
Check the connection and condition of the computer 48-track brown connector B.
Repair if necessary.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connection:
Computer connector B track M4 track 1 fuel flow actuator
Repair if necessary.
Check that there is fuel present in the tank and that it is correct. Run Test 13 Diesel fuel conformity check.
Run Test 1 Low pressure circuit check.
Run Test 6 High pressure system check.
Repair if necessary.

Check that the fuel tank is correctly filled and that the fuel is correct by running TEST 13 Diesel fuel conformity
check.
Check the low pressure circuit by running TEST 1 Low pressure circuit check.
Using the diagnostic tool, check that the injector codes (C2I) are correctly entered on the identification screen. If
not, configure the correct injector codes using command SC002 Enter injector codes.
Is the engine wiring harness cut or pinched? Carry out the necessary repairs.
Is the compression in order? Carry out the necessary repairs.
Is the valve clearance set correctly? Carry out the necessary repairs.

Check the high pressure pump by running
TEST 6 High pressure system check.The vehicle has entered the "Flow capacity
function" program. This function is activated more
easily when: the external temperature is high, the
fuel level in the tank is at 1/4, the vehicle is laden
and if the vehicle speed is high. Is the "Flow capacity function"
programming active (ET563)?
Check the computer:
Check that the computer connectors are
properly locked.
Check the condition of the computer
connections (bent pin, signs of corrosion,
silicone, etc.).
If the connector(s) is faulty and if there is a
repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A,
Repairing electrical wiring, Wiring:
Precautions for repair), repair the connector,
otherwise replace the wiring.Check the diesel filter.
Has the diesel fuel filter reached its full mileage?
Replace the diesel filter (see MR 364 (Mégane II)
or MR 370 (Scénic II), Mechanical, 13A, Fuel
supply, Fuel filter: Removal - Refitting).
