P1421 COLD START CONTROL
DescriptionINFOID:0000000005930052
ECM controls ignition timing and engine idle speed when engine is started with pre-warming up condition.
This control promotes the activation of three way catalyst by heating the catalyst and reduces emissions.

DTC DETECTION LOGIC
NOTE:
If DTC P1421 is displayed with ot
her DTC, first perform the trouble diagnosis for other DTC.
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

P2101 ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL FUNCTION
DescriptionINFOID:0000000005930067
Electric throttle control actuator consists of throttle control mo
tor, throttle position sensor, etc.
The throttle control motor is operated by the ECM and it opens and closes the throttle valve.
The current opening angle of the throttle valve is detected by the throttle position sensor and it provides feed-
back to the ECM. ECM controls the throttle valve opening angle in response to driving condition via the throttle
control motor.
