The boot lid swings upwards when
opened. Therefore, make sure that there is
sufficient clearance above the boot lid.
Opening You can open the boot lid automatically using
the key or the handle in the boot lid.
X Press and hold the Fbutton on the key
until the boot lid opens.
or
X If the boot is unlocked, pull on the boot lid
handle and let it go againi mmediately.
Closing You can close the boot lid automatically by
using the closing button 19
or locking but-
ton 20

To close: press closing button :in the
boot lid.
X To close and locks imultaneously:
Press locking button ;in the boot lid.
i If you leave a KEYLESS-GO key in the
boot, the boot lid will not lock. Opening automatically from inside
You can open the tailgate from the driver's
seat when the vehicle is stationary. X
To open: pull remote operating switch for
boot lid :until the boot lid opens. Unlocking the boot (emergency key
element)
