AVS (Adaptive Variable Suspension System)
Sports mode
Suitable for meandering mountainous driv-
ing or high speed driving.
Normal mode
Suitable for normal driving.
TRAC/VSC Off Mode
To turn off TRAC: Push the VSC OFF switch
briefly. The message “TRAC OFF” appears on
the multi-information display.
To turn off VSC: Push and hold the VSC OFF
switch for 3 seconds when the vehicle is not mov-
ing. The slip off indicator light should come on
and the message “TRAC OFF” appears on the
multi-information display.
Push the button again to turn the system back on.
: If equipped
AVS controls the suspension and steering wheel operation according to the road and
driving conditions.

This switch turns off the traction control system or vehicle stability control system.
Use this switch if the wheels get stuck in snow, mud etc.

Headlights
The side marker, parking, tail, license plate and
instrument panel lights turn on.
The headlights and all lights listed above turn on.
The headlights and parking lights turn on/off
automatically in accordance with ambient light
levels.
To engage the high beams, push the lever forward.
To flash the high beams, pull the lever and hold.
■AFS (Adaptive Front lighting System) (if equipped)
AFS improves visibility on curves by automatically adjusting the horizontal orientation of the
headlights in accordance with vehicle speed and the degree of the tire angle that are con-
trolled by steering input.
The system can be turned on and off using the
“AFS OFF” switch.

Fog Lights
The fog lights can be used only when the head-
lights (low beam) are on.

Windshield Wipers and Washers
■Intermittent wiper with interval adjuster (if equipped)
Off
Intermittent operation
Low speed
High speed
Single wipe
Intermittent operation: Wiper interval can be
adjusted by turning the band.
To spray washer fluid, pull the lever. The wipers
will operate automatically.1

Headlight Cleaner
The headlight cleaner can be used only when the
“ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION
ON mode and the headlights are on.
Rear Window and Outside Rear View
Mirror Defoggers
To defog the rear window and outside mirrors,
press the button.
Press again to cancel.

Instrument Panel Light Control
Brighter
Darker
Maximum brightness
Changes the cluster glass tint

The system turns off automatically after 15 to 60 minutes.
