Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty level
of replacement varies depending on the bulb. If necessary bulb
replacement seems difficult to perform, contact any authorized Lexus
dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
For more information about replacing other light bulbs, contact any
authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and
equipped professional.

Replacing light bulbs
Headlight low beams (halogen headlights)
For the right side only: Remove
the securing clips and unclip
the engine coolant reservoir
hose. Then lift up the air
cleaner inlet duct.
Unplug the connector while
pressing the lock release.

For the right side only: Remove the securing clips and
unclip the engine coolant reservoir hose. Then lift up the air
cleaner inlet duct. (P. 536)
Turn the cover counterclock-
wise and remove it.
Turn the bulb base counter-
clockwise.
Unplug the connector while
pulling the lock release.

clip, and pull down the engine
under cover.
Pull the cover down slowly,
being careful not to dislodge
any fixed components.
Unplug the connector while
pressing the lock release.

If you notice any of the following symptoms, your vehicle probably

Visible symptoms
Fluid leaks under the vehicle.
(Water dripping from the air conditioning after use is nor-
mal.)
Flat-looking tires or uneven tire wear
High coolant temperature warning light flashes or comes
on.
Audible symptoms
Changes in exhaust sound
Excessive tire squeal when cornering
Strange noises related to the suspension system
Pinging or other noises related to the hybrid system
Operational symptoms
Engine missing, stumbling or running roughly
Appreciable loss of power
