Center Console Storage
There is a storage compartment located under the center
console armrest.
Pull upward on the release handle, located on the front of
the lid, to open the storage compartment.
Sliding Armrest
The center console armrest can also be slid rearward for
easy access to the storage area.

VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (VES)™ — IF
EQUIPPED
The optional Video Entertainment System (VES)™ in-
cludes the following components for rear seat entertain-
ment:
•A diagonal 9 in (22 cm) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
screen integrated into the center overhead console.
The screen features brightness control for optimum
daytime and nighttime viewing.
•The LCD Screen swings down from the console to
allow the rear seat passenger(s) to view the display.
•The touch screen radio and DVD player controls allow
front seat operation for easy setup in the case of
younger rear seat passengers.
•A battery-powered infrared remote control that snaps
into a molded compartment in the center console.

•Two wireless infrared headsets allow rear seat passen-

STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROLS — IF
EQUIPPED
The remote sound system controls are located on the rear
surface of the steering wheel. The left and right-hand
controls are rocker-type switches with a pushbutton in
the center of each switch. Reach behind the steering
wheel to access the switches.

WARNING!
Fast spinning tires can be dangerous. Forces gener-
ated by excessive wheel speeds may cause damage, or
even failure, of the axle and tires. A tire could
explode and injure someone. Do not spin your vehi-
cle’s wheels faster than 30 mph (48 km/h) or for
longer than 30 seconds continuously without stop-
ping when you are stuck and do not let anyone near
a spinning wheel, no matter what the speed.
SHIFT LEVER OVERRIDE
If a malfunction occurs and the shift lever cannot be
moved out of the PARK position, you can use the
following procedure to temporarily move the shift lever:
1. Firmly apply the parking brake.
2. Open the center console and remove the shift lever
override access cover.3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position
without starting the engine.
4. Press and maintain firm pressure on the brake pedal.
5. Insert a screwdriver or similar small tool into the hole
at the front of the center console and push the manual

6. Move the shift lever into the NEUTRAL position.
7. The vehicle may then be started in NEUTRAL.
8. Reinstall the shift lever override access cover in the
center console.With Keyless Enter-N-Go — If Equipped
If the engine is running, press the START/STOP button to
turn it off. Release the brake pedal and press the START/
STOP button once or twice to go to the ON/RUN
position. Do not start the engine. Then, follow the in-
structions shown above to activate the override.
