STATIC DIRECTIONAL LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam headlam-
ps are on, this function enables the beam
to light the inside of the turn with an addi-
tional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above
all at low and average speed (city driving,
w i n d i n g r o a d s , . . . ) .

Switching on
The system is switched on from a certain
speed and a certain angle of rotation of the
steering wheel.
Operating fault The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.

the instrument panel, accom-
panied by a message on the

HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the headlamps
should be adjusted in relation to the
load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

2. 4 people + maximum authorised
load.
3. Driver + maximum authorised load.
Switching off
The system is switched off below a certain
angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is
engaged.

CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for replacing a faulty bulb
with a new bulb without the use of
tools.
1. Direction indicators
(PY21W amber).
2. Sidelamps (W5W).
3. Dipped beam headlamps
(H7-55W).
4. Main beam headlamps (H1-55W).
5. Directional headlamps (H7-55W).
6. Foglamps (H11-55W). Changing the direction indicator
bulbs
Do not touch the bulb directly
w i t h y o u r fi n g e r s , u s e l i n t - f r e e
cloths.
Changing a halogen bulb should
only be done after the headlamp
has been switched off for a few
m i n u t e s ( r i s k o f s e r i o u s b u r n s ) .
It is imperative to use only anti-ul-
t r a v i o l e t ( U V ) t y p e b u l b s i n o r d e r
not to damage the headlamp. Model with conventi
onal lamps
Amber coloured bulbs, such as
the direction indicators, must be
replaced with bulbs of identical
s p e c i fi c a t i o n a n d c o l o u r .
Turn the bulb holder one quarter of
a turn and remove it.
Pull the bulb then change it.

T h e h e a d l a m p s a r e fi t t e d w i t h p o l y c a r -
b o n a t e g l a s s w i t h a p r o t e c t i v e c o a t i n g :
do not clean them using a dry or
abrasive cloth, nor with a deter-
gent or solvent product,
use a sponge and soapy water,
when using a high pressure washer
on persistent marks, do not direct
at the lamps or their outlines for too
long, so as not to damage their pro-
tective coating and seals. Model with elliptical module dipped

Changing the integrated direction
indicator side repeaters
Changing the foglamp bulbs
For replacement of these bulbs, contact
a PEUGEOT dealer.
Insert a screwdriver towards the
centre of the repeater between the
repeater and the base of the mirror.
T i l t t h e s c r e w d r i v e r t o e x t r a c t t h e
repeater and remove the repeater.
Disconnect the repeater connector.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.
To obtain a replacement repeater, contact
a PEUGEOT dealer.
Changing the sidelamp bulbs
Disconnect the main headlamp con-
nector.
Remove the plastic protective cover
by pulling on the tab.
Turn the bulb holder one quarter of
a turn and remove it.
Pull the bulb and change it.

Changing the dipped, main beam or
directional headlamp bulbs
Disconnect the main headlamp
connector.
Remove the corresponding plastic
protective cover by pulling on the tab.
Disconnect the connector of the

Move aside the spring to release the
bulb and remove the bulb.
