Each time the button is pressed, the display changes in the following order:

To protect the internal components, playback is automatically stopped when a
problem is detected.
■Display
Up to 12 characters can be displayed at a time.
If there are 13 or more characters, pressing and holding until you hear a beep
enables to display the remaining characters.
A maximum of 24 characters can be displayed.
If is pressed for more than 1 second again or has not been operated for more
than 6 seconds, the display will return to the first 12 characters.
Depending on the contents recorded, the characters may not be displayed prop-
erly or may not be displayed at all.

Listing the registered mobile phonesSelecting “List Names” by using a voice command or begins read-
ing aloud the list of the registered mobile phones.
When listing is complete, the system returns to “Phone Setup”.
Pressing the talk switch while the name of a mobile phone is being read
aloud selects the mobile phone, and the following functions will become
available:
● Selecting a mobile phone: “Connect Phone (Connect)”
● Changing a registered name: “Change Name”
● Deleting a mobile phone: “Delete Phone”
Changing the passkey
Select “Set Passkey” by using a voice command or .

Changing “ENGINE START STOP” switch modes and starting the engine
Shift the shift lever to P and apply the brakes.Touch the Lexus emblem side of
the electronic key to the
“ENGINE START STOP” switch.
An alarm will sound to indicate that
the start function cannot detect the
electronic key that is touched to
the “ENGINE START STOP”
switch if any of the doors is opened
and closed while the key is touched
to the switch.
To change “ENGINE START ST OP” switch modes: Within 10
seconds of the buzzer sounding, release the brake pedal and
press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch. Modes can be
changed each time the switch is pressed. ( o P. 1 2 4 )
To start the engine: Press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch
within 10 seconds after the buzzer sounds, keeping the brake
pedal depressed.
In the event that the “ENGINE START STOP” switch still cannot be oper-
ated, contact your Lexus dealer.

■Stopping the engine
Shift the shift lever to P and press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch as you nor-
mally do when stopping the engine.
■Replacing the key battery
As the above procedure is the temporary measure, it is recommend that the elec-
