electronic systems to be initialised. If

- Connect the other end of the green or black cable to an earth
point on the broken down vehi-
cle as far as possible from the
b a t t e r y ( f o r e x a m p l e , r i g h t - h a n d
e n g i n e m o u n t i n g ) .
O p e r a t e t h e s t a r t e r , l e t t h e e n g i n e r u n .
W a i t f o r t h e e n g i n e t o r e t u r n t o i d l e ,
then disconnect the cables.
