Portable Audio Devices
This vehicle may have an auxilliary input, located on theaudio faceplate and a USB port located in the centerconsole. External devices such as iPod®, laptopcomputers, MP3 players, CD changers, USB storagedevice, etc. can be connected to the auxiliary port usinga 3.5 mm (1/8 in.) input jack or the USB port dependingon the audio system.

Steering Wheel Controls
Audio steering wheelcontrol functions coulddiffer depending onthe vehicle's options.Some audio controlscan be adjusted at thesteering wheel.
w/x:Press to change favorite radio stations,select tracks on a CD/DVD, or to navigate tracks orfolders on an iPod®or USB device.
bg:Press to silence the vehicle speakers only. Pressagain to turn the sound on. Press and holdlonger than two seconds to interact with OnStar®orBluetooth systems.
+e!e:Increases or decreases volume.
c:Press to reject an incoming call, or to end a call.
SRCE :Press to switch between the radio, CD, and forvehicles with, DVD, front auxiliary, and rear auxiliary.
¨:Press to seek the next radio station, the next trackor chapter while sourced to the CD or DVD slot, or toselect tracks and folders on an iPod®or USB device.

Bluetooth®
For vehicles with an in-vehicle Bluetooth system, itallows users with a Bluetooth enabled cell phone tomake and receive hands-free calls using the vehicle’saudio system and controls.
The Bluetooth enabled cell phone must be paired withthe in-vehicle Bluetooth system before it can be usedin the vehicle. Not all phones will support all functions.For more information visit www.gm.com/bluetooth.

Navigation System
The vehicle's navigation system provides detailed mapsof most major freeways and roads throughout theUnited States and Canada. After a destination has beenset, the system provides turn-by-turn instructions forreaching the destination. In addition, the system canhelp locate a variety of points of interest (POI), such asbanks, airports, restaurants, and more.

Driver Information Center (DIC)
The DIC display is located at the bottom of theinstrument panel cluster. It shows the status of manyvehicle systems and enables access to thepersonalization menu.
The DIC buttons arelocated on the instrumentpanel, next to the steeringwheel.
3(Trip/Fuel):Press this button to display theodometer, trip odometer, fuel range, average economy,fuel used, timer, and transmission temperature. Thecompass and outside air temperature will also be shownin the display. The temperature will be shown in °F or°C depending on the units selected.

]:Push this red emergency button to get priority helpfrom specially trained OnStar emergency advisors.
X:Push this button for hands!free, voice!activatedcalling and to give voice commands for turn!by!turnnavigation.
Crisis Assist, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, VehicleDiagnostics, Remote Door Unlock, RoadsideAssistance, Turn!by!Turn Navigation and Hands!FreeCalling are available on most vehicles. Not all OnStarservices are available on all vehicles. OnStar service is subject to the OnStar terms andconditions included in the OnStar SubscriberInformation.
OnStar service cannot work unless the vehicle is in aplace where OnStar has an agreement with a wirelessservice provider for service in that area. OnStar servicealso cannot work unless the vehicle is in a place wherethe wireless service provider OnStar has hired for thatarea has coverage, network capacity and receptionwhen the service is needed, and technology that iscompatible with the OnStar service. Not all services areavailable everywhere, particularly in remote or enclosedareas, or at all times.

To set to cool mode, press and release the button theishows blue. Press and release again to turn it off.
To set to heat mode, press and release the button thehshows red. Press and release again to turn it off.
Insulated containers will not work properly. Use onlynon-insulated containers.
Notice:When the cuphholder is turned on, theinside receptacles are hot or cold. Temperaturevariations in the cupholders may causecondensation. To avoid damage, do not storeelectronic devices or other items here.
Rear Passenger Cupholders
Pull down on the lid to access the cupholders inthe rear floor console.
Vehicles with the rear seat armrest may alsocontain cupholders. Pull down the armrest to usethe cupholders.

Determine which radio the vehicle has and read thefollowing pages to become familiar with its features.

Taking your eyes off the road for extended periods

This system provides access to many audio and nonaudio listings.
To minimize taking your eyes off the road while driving,do the following while the vehicle is parked:
.Become familiar with the operation and controls ofthe audio system.
.Set up the tone, speaker adjustments, and presetradio stations.

This vehicle's infotainment system may be equippedwith a noise reduction system which can workimproperly if the audio amplifier, engine calibrations,
exhaust system, microphones, radio, or speakers aremodified or replaced. This could result in morenoticeable engine noise at certain speeds.
Notice:Contact your dealer/retailer before addingany equipment.
Adding audio or communication equipment couldinterfere with the operation of the vehicle's engine,radio, or other systems, and could damage them.Follow federal rules covering mobile radio andtelephone equipment.
The vehicle has Retained Accessory Power (RAP).With RAP, the audio system can be played even afterthe ignition is turned off. SeeRetained AccessoryPower (RAP)on page 3!28for more information.
Bluetooth®
Vehicles with a Bluetooth system can use a Bluetoothcapable cell phone with a Hands Free Profile to makeand receive phone calls. The system can be used whilethe key is in ON/RUN or ACC/ACCESSORY position.The range of the Bluetooth system can be up to 9.1 m(30 ft). Not all phones support all functions, and not allphones are guaranteed to work with the in-vehicleBluetooth system. See www.gm.com/bluetooth for moreinformation on compatible phones.

Voice Recognition
The Bluetooth system uses voice recognition tointerpret voice commands to dial phone numbers andname tags.
Noise :Keep interior noise levels to a minimum. Thesystem may not recognize voice commands if there istoo much background noise.
When to Speak :A short tone sounds after the systemresponds indicating when it is waiting for a voicecommand. Wait until the tone and then speak.
How to Speak :Speak clearly in a calm and naturalvoice.
Audio System
When using the in!vehicle Bluetooth system, soundcomes through the vehicle's front audio systemspeakers and overrides the audio system. Use theaudio system volume knob, during a call, to change thevolume level. The adjusted volume level remains inmemory for later calls. To prevent missed calls, aminimum volume level is used if the volume is turneddown too low.
Bluetooth Controls
Use the buttons located on the steering wheel tooperate the in!vehicle Bluetooth system. SeeAudioSteering Wheel Controlson page 4!105for moreinformation.
bg(Push To Talk) :Press to answer incoming calls,to confirm system information, and to start speechrecognition.
cx(Phone On Hook):Press to end a call, reject acall, or to cancel an operation.
Pairing
A Bluetooth enabled cell phone must be pairedto the in!vehicle Bluetooth system first and thenconnected to the vehicle before it can be used. See thecell phone manufacturers user guide for Bluetoothfunctions before pairing the cell phone. If a Bluetoothphone is not connected, calls will be made usingOnStar®Hands!Free Calling, if available. Refer to theOnStar owner's guide for more information.
Pairing Information:
.Up to five cell phones can be paired to thein!vehicle Bluetooth system.
.The pairing process is disabled when the vehicle ismoving.
