Store a driving position only when
the vehicle is parked.Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position. You cannot add a
new driving position to the
memory unless the ignition switch
is in the ON (II) position. You can
recall a memorized position with
the ignition switch in any position.
Adjust the seat to a comfortable
position (see page ). Press and release the SET button
on the control panel. You will hear
a beep. Immediately press and
hold one of the memory buttons (1
or 2) until you hear two beeps.
The indicator in the memory
button will come on. The current
position of the driver’s seat is now
stored.
Your vehicle has a memory feature
f or the driver’s seat position.
Two seat positions can be stored in
separate memories. You select a
memorized position by pushing the
appropriate button or using the
appropriate remote transmitter
(Driver 1 or Driver 2).
This setting can be linked or
unlinked with the remote transmitter.

The system will move the driver’s
seat to the memorized position. The
indicator in the selected memory
button will flash during movement.
When the adjustment is complete,
you will hear two beeps, and the
indicator will stay on.
Fail to press a memory button
within 5 seconds.
Each memory button stores only one
driving position. Storing a new
position erases the previous setting
stored in that button’s memory. If
you want to add a new position while
retaining the current one, use the
other memory button. To select a memorized position, do
this:

af ter pressing the SET button, do
any of the f ollowing:
Readjust the seat position.
Turn the ignition switch out from
the ON (II) position.
Make sure the parking brake is set
and the shif t lever is in Park
(automatic).If the parking brake is not set, you
must press and hold the memory
button until the adjustment is
complete.
Press the desired memory button
(1 or 2) until you hear a beep, then
release the button.

To stop the system’s automatic
adjustment, do any of these actions:Press any button on the control
panel: SET, 1, or 2.
Push any of the adjustment
switches f or the seat.
Shif t out of Park (automatic).
Release the parking brake
(manual). If desired, you can use the
adjustment switches to change the
seat position af ter it is in its
memorized position. If you change
the memorized position, the
indicator in the memory button will
go out. To keep this seat position f or
later use, you must store it in the
driver’s seat position memory.

Be sure to adjust the mirrors bef ore
you start driving. The inside mirror can automatically
darken to reduce glare. To turn on
this feature, press the button on the
bottom of the mirror. The AUTO
indicator comes on as a reminder.
When it is on, the mirror darkens
when it senses the headlights of a
vehicle behind you, then returns to
normal visibility when the lights are
gone. Press the button again to turn
of f this f eature.

adjustment switch to move the
mirrorright,left,up,ordown.

selector switch to the center (off)
position. This turns the
adjustment switch of f to keep your
settings.To tilt the passenger mirror, place
the selector switch in the right
position.
To turn the feature off, place the
switch in the center or lef t position. The outside mirrors are heated toremove fog and frost. With the
ignition switch in the ON (II)
position, turn on the heaters by
pressing the rear window def ogger
button. The indicator in the button
comesonasareminder.Pressthe
button again to turn the heaters and
the def ogger of f .
The passenger’s outside mirror has a
reverse tilt f eature. When in reverse,
the mirror will tilt down slightly to
improve your view as you parallel
park. Shif ting out of reverse will
return the mirror to its original
position.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON

window. To open a window, push the
switchdownandholdit.Releasethe
switch when you want the window to
stop. Pull back on the switch and
hold it to close the window. To open either f ront
window f ully, push the window
switch f irmly down to the second
detent, then release it. The window
automatically goes down all the way.
To stop the window f rom going all
the way down, pull back on the
window switch briefly.
To close either f ront window f ully,
pull back the window switch f irmly
to the second detent, then release it.
The window automatically goes all
the way up. To stop the window from
going all the way up, push down on
the window switch briefly.

someone’s hands or fingers can
cause serious injury.
Make sure your passengers are
away from the windows before
closing them.

Auto reverse stops sensing when the
window is almost closed. You should
always check that all passengers and
objects are away from the window
bef ore closing it.
When you push the main switch in,
the indicator comes on and the
passengers’ windows cannot be
raised or lowered. Use the main
switchwhenyouhavechildreninthe
vehicle so they do not injure
themselves by operating the
windows unintentionally. To cancel
this feature, push on the switch
again. The switch will pop out and
the indicator will go of f .
The windows and the main switch
feature will operate for up to 10
minutes after you turn off the
ignition switch. Opening either f ront
door cancels this f unction.
The driver’s window auto
reverse f unction is disabled when
you continuously pull up the switch.
The indicators inside the window
switches come on when the light
control switch is in either or position. If either f ront
window senses any obstacle while it
is closing automatically, it will
reverse direction and then stop. To
close the window, remove the
obstacle, then use the window switch
again.

Press the UNLOCK button a
second time, and hold it. The
remaining doors unlock, and all
f our windows and the moonroof
start to open. To stop the windows
and moonroof , release the button.Turn the key clockwise, then
release it. Insert the key in the driver’s door
lock.
To open:
Press the UNLOCK button once
to unlock the driver’s door. To open the windows and
moonroof f urther, press the
button again (within 10 seconds of
step 1) and hold it. If the windows
and the moonroof stop bef ore the
desired position, repeat steps 1
and 2.
You cannot close the windows or the
moonroof with the remote
transmitter.
You can open all of the windows and
the moonroof f rom outside with the
remote transmitter. You can open and close the windows
and moonroof with the key in the
driver’s door lock.
