Deactivating
the
passenger's airbag fi x e d . The passenger's airbag
control is set to the
OFF
position.
The passenger's front
airbag is deactivated.
In this case you can
install a "rear facing"
child seat. Set the control to the
ON position to activate the
p a s s e n g e r ' s f r o n t a i r b a g . I n t h i s c a s e , d o n o t fi t a
child seat in the rear-facing position.
Battery
charge fi x e d . The battery charging
circuit has a fault (dirty or
loose terminals, slack or
cut alternator belt, ...). The warning lamp should go off when the engine
is started.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer
o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Electric power
steering fi x e d . The electric power
steering has a fault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or
q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Driver's
seat belt not fastened
(according to version) fl a s h i n g , t h e n
above 9 mph (15 km/h),
accompanied
by an audible signal. The driver has not
fastened their seat belt.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the
buckle.
Emission
control
system fi x e d .
The emission control
system has a fault. This lamp should go off when the engine is started
.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer

Fuel gauge
This indicates the quantity of fuel
available:
- 1/1 and six bars, the fuel tank is
full.
- R a n d o n e b a r fl a s h i n g , t h e f u e l
tank is on the reserve.
Low fuel level
When the minimum level in the fuel tank is
r e a c h e d , t h e l a s t b a r fl a s h e s a c c o m p a n i e d b y
an audible signal.
In certain driving conditions and depending
on the engine, the distance which can be trav-
elled with the fuel remaining may be less than
30 miles (50 km).
You have approximately 5 litres remaining.
W h e n t h e f r e q u e n c y o f t h e fl a s h i n g i n c r e a s e s ,
you have approximately 3 litres remaining .
At least 5 litres must be added
after running out of fuel.
When the ignition is switched on,
the distance recorder selected when
the engine was switched off is dis-
played.
Press button 1 to alternate the dis-
tance display:
- total with "ODO" displayed,
- trip with "TRIP" displayed. To reset the trip recorder to zero,
when it is displayed, press and hold

on or off.
After the engine has been switched
off, the audio equipment can only
operate for approximately 30 min-
utes, to prevent discharging of the
battery. Press the upper part
of this button several
times in succession to
increase the volume
of the audio equip-
ment or the lower part
of this button to de-
crease it.
Volume adjustment

The audio equipment controls enable
you to adjust the volume and the au-

To exit from the AUX source, press
AM/FM .
When using an MP3 player: in-
crease the volume of the radio signif-
icantly (between 30 and 60) to obtain
a satisfactory playing volume.
