PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Parking the vehicle
Immobilise the vehicle where it
d o e s n o t b l o c k t r a f fi c : t h e g r o u n d
must be level, stable and non-
slippery.
Apply the parking brake, switch off
t h e i g n i t i o n a n d e n g a g e fi r s t g e a r t o
lock the wheels.
If necessary, place a chock under
the wheel diagonally opposite the
wheel to be changed.
You must ensure that the occu-
pants get out of the vehicle and
wait where they are safe.
Never go underneath a vehicle
r a i s e d u s i n g a j a c k ; u s e a n a x l e
stand.
Removing the wheel
List of operations
Remove the chromed bolt cover from
each of the bolts using the tool 3 (with
a l l o w w h e e l s o n l y ) .
Fit the security socket 5 on the
wheelbrace 1 to slacken the security
b o l t ( i f y o u r v e h i c l e h a s t h e m ) .
Slacken the other bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 only.
Place the jack 2 in contact with one
of the two front A or rear B locations
provided on the underbody, which-
ever is closest to the wheel to be
changed.
E x t e n d t h e j a c k 2 until its base plate
is in contact with the ground. Ensure
that the centreline of the jack base
plate is directly below the location A
or B used.
Raise the vehicle until there is suf-
fi c i e n t s p a c e b e t w e e n t h e w h e e l a n d
the ground to admit the spare (not
p u n c t u r e d ) w h e e l e a s i l y .
Remove the bolts and store them in
a clean place.
Remove the wheel.

remove the faulty bulb and replace it.

Changing foglamp/reversing lamp
bulbs
open the boot,
press on the tabs using 2 screwdrivers,
disconnect the lamp connector,
t u r n t h e b u l b h o l d e r b y a q u a r t e r t u r n ,
remove the bulb and replace it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n r e -
verse order. Changing the third brake lamp bulbs
(4 W5W bulbs)
open the boot,
remove the two plugs located on the
boot inner panel,
press on the body of the lamp with
2 screwdrivers to remove it from its
housing,
turn the corresponding bulb-holder
a q u a r t e r t u r n ,
pull the bulb and replace it.

verse order. Changing the number plate lamp
bulbs (W5W)
insert a thin screwdriver into one of
t h e l e n s ’ e x t e r i o r h o l e s ,
push it outwards to unclip,
remove the lens,
pull the bulb and replace it.

The GTW and towed load values indicated are valid up to a maximum altitude of 1 000 metres; the towed load mention ed
must be reduced by 10 % for each additional 1 000 metres of a ltitude.
The speed of a towing vehicle must not exceed 60 mph (100 k m/h) (comply with the legislation in force in your country).
High ambient temperatures may result in a reduction in the pe rformance of the vehicle to protect the engine; if the ambient
temperature is above 37 °C, limit the towed load.

** The weight of the braked trailer can be increased,
within the GTW limit, if the GVW of the towing vehicle is reduced by an
equal amount; warning, towing using a lightly loaded to wing vehicle may have an adverse effect on its road holding.
