FAMILIARISATION Rear parking sensors
This system provides a warning when
reversing by detecting obstacles located
behind the vehicle.

Stop & Start
This system puts the engine temporarily
i n t o s t a n d b y d u r i n g s t o p s i n t h e t r a f fi c ( r e d
l i g h t s , t r a f fi c j a m s , e t c . . . ) . T h e e n g i n e
restarts as soon as you want to move
off. The Stop & Start system reduces
fuel consumption and exhaust emis-
sions, and provides the comfort of total
silence when stationary.

O n c e t h e " V e h i c l e C o n fi g u r a t i o n " m e n u
has been selected, you can activate or
deactivate the following equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- guide-me-home lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section).
Options
Once the "Options" menu has been
selected, you can start diagnostics of
the status of the equipment (active, not
active, faulty). D i s p l a y s e t t i n g s
Once the "Display settings" menu has
been selected, you can gain access to
the following settings:
- year,
- month,
- day,
- hour,
- minutes,
- 12 or 24 hour mode.
Once you have selected a setting,
press the " " or " " buttons to
change its value.
Press the " " or " " buttons to
switch respectively to the previous
or next setting.
Press the "OK" button to save the
change and return to the normal
display or press the "ESC" button
to cancel. L a n g u a g e s
Once the "Languages" menu has been
selected, you can change the language
used by the display (Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-
Brasil, Deutsch, English, Espanol).
Units
Once the "Units" menu has been se-
lected, you can change the units of the
following parameters:
- temperature (°C or °F),
-
fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l).
Once the fuel consumption units
have been set to mpg, the infor-
mation in the instrument panel
screen on speed and distance
will also be in mph and miles.

Once this menu has been selected, you
can consult information concerning the
status of the vehicle (warnings log, sta-
tus of functions, etc.)

Once this menu has been selected, you

This menu allows you to select the lan-
guage used by the display: Deutsch,
English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Polski, Portugues, Türkçe * .
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date
and time, the format of the date and the
format of the time (refer to the "Audio
a n d T e l e m a t i c s " s e c t i o n o r t o t h e s p e c i fi c
user guide given to you with the other
owner's documents).
Display
This menu allows you to set the bright-
ness of the screen, the screen colour
scheme and the colour of the map (day/
night or auto mode).
Vehicle
This menu allows you to activate or
deactivate certain driving and comfort
equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer
to the "Visibility" section),
- guide-me-home lighting and dura- tion (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section).
Units
This menu allows you to select the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and fuel
consumption (km/l, l/100 or mpg).
System
This menu allows you to restore the fac-
t o r y c o n fi g u r a t i o n , d i s p l a y t h e s o f t w a r e
version and activate scrolling text. F o r s a f e t y r e a s o n s , c o n fi g u r a -

REAR PARKING SENSORS
S y s t e m c o n s i s t i n g o f f o u r p r o x i m i t y s e n -
sors, located in the rear bumper. Activation
This detects any obstacle (person, vehi-
cle, tree, gate, etc.) behind the vehicle,
e x c e p t o b s t a c l e s l o c a t e d j u s t b e l o w t h e
bumper. A n o b j e c t , s u c h a s a s t a k e , a
roadworks cone or any other
s i m i l a r o b j e c t m a y b e d e t e c t e d
at the beginning of the manoeu-
vre, but may no longer be de-
tected when the vehicle comes
close to it. The parking sensor system can-
not, in any circumstances, take
the place of the vigilance and
responsibility of the driver.
The system is activated as soon as re-
verse gear is engaged, accompanied
by an audible signal.
On completion of the manoeuvre, when
y o u e x i t r e v e r s e g e a r , t h e s y s t e m b e -
comes inactive.
T h e p r o x i m i t y i n f o r m a t i o n i s g i v e n b y :
- an audible signal, which becomes
more rapid as the vehicle approa-
ches the obstacle.
- a graphic (according to version) in the multifunction screen, with blocks
which become increasingly closer to
the vehicle.
When the distance between the rear of
the vehicle and the obstacle is less than
thirty centimetres, the audible signal
becomes continuous and the "Danger"
symbol appears in the multifunction
screen.

DRIVING
The system will be deactivated
automatically when towing a
trailer or when a bicycle carrier is
fi t t e d ( v e h i c l e fi t t e d w i t h a t o w b a r
or bicycle carrier recommended
by CITROËN). In bad or wintry weather, ensure
that the sensors are not covered
with mud, frost or snow.
Programming
You can activate or deactivate the
system by means of the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u . T h e s y s t e m
state is memorised when switching off
the ignition.

the "Multifunction screens" section cor-
responding to your screen.
Operating faults
If there is an operating fault,
when reverse gear is engaged
this warning lamp comes on in
the instrument panel, accompanied by an
audible signal (short beep) and a message in the multifunction screen.
