ACCESS
Emergency control
To lock or unlock the doors manually in
the event of a malfunction of the central
locking system or failure of the battery.
Locking the driver’s door
Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the left.
Unlocking the driver’s door
Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the right.
Locking the front and rear
passenger doors
Remove the black cap, located on
the edge of the door, using the key.
Insert the key in the recess, then
turn it as far as it will go.

Following a second press, it comes on: - when the vehicle is unlocked,
- when the key is removed from
the ignition,
- when a door is opened,
- when the remote control locking button is pressed, in order to
locate your vehicle. In permanent lighting mode, the
lighting duration varies, accord-
ing to the circumstances:
- with the ignition off, approxi-
mately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode, approximately thirty seconds,
- with the engine running, un- limited.
Version with Zenith windscreen In this position, the courtesy
lamp comes on gradually:
- when the vehicle is unlocked,
- when the key is removed from the ignition,
- when a door is opened,
- when the remote control locking but- ton is activated, in order to locate
your vehicle.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,
- when the ignition is switched on,
- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.
Permanently off.
Permanent lighting.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,
- when the ignition is switched on,
- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.
To switch off the rear courtesy lamp,
place it in the "permanently off" position.

DRIVING
REAR PARKING SENSORS
S y s t e m c o n s i s t i n g o f f o u r p r o x i m i t y s e n -
sors, located in the rear bumper. Activation
This detects any obstacle (person, vehi-
cle, tree, gate, etc.) behind the vehicle,
e x c e p t o b s t a c l e s l o c a t e d j u s t b e l o w t h e
bumper. A n o b j e c t , s u c h a s a s t a k e , a
roadworks cone or any other
s i m i l a r o b j e c t m a y b e d e t e c t e d
at the beginning of the manoeu-
vre, but may no longer be de-
tected when the vehicle comes
close to it. The parking sensor system can-
not, in any circumstances, take
the place of the vigilance and
responsibility of the driver.
The system is activated as soon as re-
verse gear is engaged, accompanied
by an audible signal.
On completion of the manoeuvre, when
y o u e x i t r e v e r s e g e a r , t h e s y s t e m b e -
comes inactive.
T h e p r o x i m i t y i n f o r m a t i o n i s g i v e n b y :
- an audible signal, which becomes
more rapid as the vehicle approa-
ches the obstacle.
- a graphic (according to version) in the multifunction screen, with blocks
which become increasingly closer to
the vehicle.
When the distance between the rear of
the vehicle and the obstacle is less than
thirty centimetres, the audible signal
becomes continuous and the "Danger"
symbol appears in the multifunction
screen.
