AUDIO
On/off With the ignition key in
the accessories posi-
tion or with the ignition
on, press this button to
switch the audio equipment on or off.
After the engine has been switched off, the audio equipment can
only operate for approximately
30 mi nutes, to prevent discharging
of the battery. Press the upper part
of this button several
times in succession to
increase the volume
of the audio equip-
ment or the lower part
of this button to de-
crease it.
Volume adjustment
Setting the clock Press this button sev-

to the bass (BASS) ,
treble (TREB) , front/rear balance
(FAD) and left/right balance (BAL)
settings.

more than 2 seconds,

An auxiliary socket
"AUX" is provided for
the connection of por-
table equipment (MP3
player, etc.).
When the parameter
is displayed, change
the setting using these two buttons.
You exit from this mode automati-
cally after a few seconds without any
action. In order to listen to it,
connect your equip-
ment then press this
button.
The audio equipment controls enable
you to adjust the volume and the au-
dio settings.
To exit from the AUX source, press
AM/FM .
When using an MP3 player: in-
crease the volume of the radio signifi-
cantly (between 30 and 60) to obtain
a satisfactory playing volume.

CD AND CD CHANGER FUNCTIONS
Introscan (SCAN)
Press this button to lis-
ten to the start of each
track on the current CD.
Fast play Press and hold one
of these buttons for
fast forwards or back-
wards play respec-
tively.
The fast play stops
when the button is re-
leased. When a CD is insert-
ed, printed face up-
permost, play begins
automatically.
If there is a CD in the player already,
press this button.
CD FUNCTIONS Repeat of a track on the CD
(RPT)
Random play of the CD
(RAND) When the CD player
is selected, press this
button. If you wish to listen
to the current track
again, press this
button. To cancel the
repetition, press the
button again.
CD eject Press this button to
eject the CD from the
player.
The tracks on the CD will be played
in a random order. Press the button
again to return to normal play.
The random play mode is deacti-
vated when the audio equipment is
switched off. The use of copied CDs may
cause faults.
Insert circular CDs only.

Press this button to
return to the start of
the current track or
to select the previous

communication transmitters
Before installing any after-market
radio communication transmitter,
you can contact a CITROËN dealer
f o r t h e s p e c i fi c a t i o n o f t r a n s m i t t e r s
w h i c h c a n b e fi t t e d ( f r e q u e n c y , m a x i -
m u m p o w e r , a e r i a l p o s i t i o n , s p e c i fi c
installation requirements), in line with
the Vehicle Electromagnetic Compat-
ibility Directive (2004/104/EC).
Depending on the legisla-
tion in force in the country, it
may be compulsory to have
a high visibility safety vest,
warning triangle and spare bulbs and
fuses available in the vehicle.
T h e fi t t i n g o f e l e c t r i c a l e q u i p m e n t o r a c -
cessories which are not recommended
by CITROËN may result in a failure of
your vehicle's electronic system and
excessive electrical consumption.
Please note this precaution. You
are advised to contact a CITROËN
representative to be shown the range
of recommended equipment and
accessories.
