SEAT maintenance programme
8SEAT maintenance programmeGeneral informationThis maintenance programme will inform you of the work to carry out regularly
on your vehicle in order to ensure the safety, reliability and durability
required.
Using the “vehicle identification” data or the data contained in this docu-
ment, the correct spare parts your vehicle could require in case of repairs are
specified, even after many years from the initial purchase.
We recommend that you keep this maintenance programme with the vehicle
documents. The inspection receipts are one of the essential requirements for
exercising your rights under warranty.
The maintenance programme shows the date of delivery, and this indicates
the starting date of the vehicle warranty.Maintenance ProgrammeThe SEAT maintenance programme consists of the different inspection serv-
ices which are carried out according to the time since the vehicle purchase or
its mileage.
Each Inspection Service, as well as any additional operation required already
has a pre-established work time. This will allow you to know the total cost of
the service beforehand.
The SEAT Service Centre network is equipped with modern workshop tech-
nology and well-trained specialists. Many SEAT Service Centres offer different
service packages at special prices
Adverse conditionsThe Service Centre “service advisor” will inform you of any necessary addi-
tional work within the intervals defined by the Inspection Service, according
to the conditions and environment in which the vehicle is used. For example,
an oil change where the vehicle is used only for frequent short journeys or is
subject to extreme temperatures. Likewise, when the vehicle is used in dusty
conditions, dust and pollen filter cartridges must be changed more often and
the timing belt must be checked.Diesel fuelThe Service Centre “service advisor” can provide information about which
