Press one of the buttons to carry out a m a n u a l s e a r c h o f t h e r a d i o s t a t i o n s .
Press the LIST REFRESH button to display the list of stations received l o c a l l y ( 3 0 s t a t i o n s m a x i m u m ) . T o u p d a t e t h i s l i s t , p r e s s f o r m o r e t h a n two seconds.
Select ACTIVATE FREQUENCY F O L L O W I N G ( R D S ) t h e n p r e s s O K . RDS appears on the display.
Select the FM WAVEBAND PREFERENCES function then p r e s s O K .
Select AUDIO FUNCTIONS then p r e s s O K .
Press the MENU button.

This explains the loss of reception of the station during a j o u r n e y .

During this brief sound cut-out, the RDS searches for any frequency p e r m i t t i n g b e t t e r r e c e p t i o n o f t h e s t a t i o n . D e a c t i v a t e t h e R D S f u n c t i o n i f t h e p h e n o m e n o n i s t o o f r e q u e n t a n d a l w a y s o n t h e s a m e r o u t e .
With the engine off, t h e a u d i o e q u i p m e n t switches off after a few m i n u t e s o f u s e .
W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s s w i t c h e d o f f , t h e a u d i o e q u i p m e n t o p e r a t i n g t i m e depends on the battery charge. T h e s w i t c h - o f f i s n o r m a l : t h e a u d i o e q u i p m e n t s w i t c h e s t o e c o n o m y m o d e and switches off to prevent discharging of the vehicle's battery.
Start the vehicle's engine to increase the battery charge.
