FAMILIARISATION
Passenger’s front air bag
START
1. Insertion of the key.
2. Selection of the position:
"OFF" (disarming), with "rear facing"
child seat,
"ON" (activation), with front passenger
or "forwards facing" child seat.
3. Removal of the key keeping the
switch in this position.
1. Stop position.
2. Running position.
3. Starting position.
A. Front and/or rear seat belts not fas-
tened/unfastened warning light.
B. Front left seat belt warning light.
C. Front right seat belt warning light.
D. Rear right seat belt warning light.
E. Rear left seat belt warning light.
F. Passenger’s front air bag disarmed
warning light.
G. Passenger’s front air bag activated
warning light.

Avoid attaching any heavy objects
to the key which would weigh down
on its shaft in the ignition switch;
this could cause a malfunction.

COMFORT
Engage the shafts of the windstop
frame in the openings in the rear
side trim so that the red indicators
are concealed.
W h e n i n s t a l l i n g t h e w i n d s t o p f o r t h e fi r s t
time:
position a size 10 open-ended span-
ner on the hexagonal part of the shaft,
tighten or slacken without forcing on
each side to adjust the depth setting.
Lastly, always check that the wind-
stop is retained securely before use
i n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n .
Removal
Press and pull on the shaft supports
to release the shafts from the open-
ings in the rear side trim; the red
indicators then become visible. It is not necessary to remove the
windstop when operating the roof.
