VISIBILITY
Exterior welcome lighting
The remote switching on of the lights
and lateral spotlights makes your
approach to the vehicle easier in poor
light when in automatic switching on of
the lights mode.
Switching on
Press the open padlock on the
remote control.
The dipped headlamps and the side lights come on, as well as the lateral
spotlights, located in the exterior mir-
rors; your vehicle is also unlocked.
Switching off
The exterior welcome lighting switches
off automatically after a set time, when
the ignition is switched on or on locking
the vehicle.
Programming The duration of maintaining
of the lighting is selected
via the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
The duration of the welcome light-
ing is associated with and identical
to that of the automatic follow-me-
home lighting. MANUAL ADJUSTMENT OFTHE HEADLAMPS
Initial setting is position "0".
To avoid dazzling other road users, the
height of the halogen bulb headlamps
must be adjusted according to the load
in the vehicle.

AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT OF THE DIRECTIONAL HEADLAMPS
Do not touch the xenon headlamps. Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
In order to avoid causing a nuisance to
other road users, this system corrects
the height of the xenon headlamps beam
automatically and when stationary, in
relation to the load in the vehicle.
If a malfunction occurs, this
warning light and/or the service
warning light is displayed on the
instrument panel, accompanied
by an audible signal and a message on
the multifunction display.
The system then places your head-
lamps in the lowest position.
DIRECTIONAL LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-
lamps are on, this function enables the
light beam to follow the direction of the
road.
The use of this function, coupled with
the xenon headlamps only, considerably
i m p r o v e s t h e q u a l i t y o f y o u r l i g h t i n g
when cornering.

FRONT ARMREST WITH LOCK
Comfort and storage device for the driver
and front passenger.
The height and longitudinal position of
the armrest cover can be adjusted for
greater comfort.
Its compartment is also locked or unlocked
when the vehicle is locked or unlocked us-
ing the remote control or the key.
Storage
It can hold up to 6 CDs.
Raise the lever 1 .
Raise the cover fully.
Longitudinal adjustment
Slide the cover fully forwards or
rearwards.
Height adjustment
Raise the cover to the required posi-
tion (low, intermediate or high).
If you raise the cover slightly beyond
the high position, guide it when lower-
ing it to the low position.
USB PLUG - READER
This connection box, consisting of a
USB port, is located in the front arm-
rest.
It permits the connection of portable
equipment, such as an iPod ®
digital
audio player of generation 5 or later or
a USB stick.
I t r e a d s t h e a u d i o fi l e f o r m a t s ( m p 3 ,
ogg, wma, wav...) which are transmitted
to your audio equipment and played via
the vehicle's speakers.
Y o u c a n m a n a g e t h e s e fi l e s u s i n g t h e
steering wheel controls or the audio
equipment control panel and display
them on the multifunction screen.
When it is in use, the portable equip-
ment charges automatically.
