Interior mirror
Adjustable mirror providing a central
rearward view.
A d j u s t m e n t
Adjust the mirror so that the glass is di-
r e c t e d c o r r e c t l y i n t h e " d a y " p o s i t i o n .
As a safety precaution, the mirrors
must be adjusted to reduce the
" b l i n d s p o t " . Automatic day/night model
System which automatically and pro-
gressively changes between the day
and night uses.
In order to prevent dazzle, the interior
mirror glass darkens automatically in
relation to the intensity of the light from
the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam of
following vehicles, sun...) decreases, so
guaranteeing optimum visibility.
Manual model
T h e m i r r o r i s fi t t e d w i t h a n i g h t - t i m e a n t i -
dazzle device.
Day/night position
P u l l t h e l e v e r t o c h a n g e t o t h e " n i g h t "
anti-dazzle position.
Push the lever to change to the normal
" d a y " p o s i t i o n . In order to guarantee optimum visi-
bility during your manoeuvres, the
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.

System for selection and control of the
various front and rear lamps providing
the vehicle’s lighting. Manual controls
The lighting commands are made direct-
ly by the driver by means of ring
A and
stalk B .
lighting off,
sidelamps only,
dipped or main beam head-lamps,
B. stalk for inversion of the beam by pull-
ing: dipped headlamps/main beam
headlamps.
In the lighting off and sidelamps modes,
the driver can switch on the main beam
h e a d l a m p s d i r e c t l y ( " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " )
by pulling and holding the stalk.
Displays
The corresponding indicator lamp
comes on on the instrument panel to
c o n fi r m t h e s w i t c h i n g o n o f t h e l i g h t i n g
selected.
Main lighting
The vehicle’s various front and rear lamps
are designed to adapt the driver’s visibility
gradually in relation to the climatic condi-
tions:
- sidelamps, to be seen,
- dipped beam headlamps to see
without dazzling other drivers,
-main beam headlamps for good visibility when the road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lamps are installed to respond to
particular driving conditions:
- rear foglamps to be seen from a dis-tance,
- front foglamps for even better visibility,
- directional headlamps for improved visibility around bends.
Programmes
Various automatic lighting control modes are also available according to the fol-lowing options:
- "guide-me-home" lighting,
- automatic lighting,
- static directional lighting.

Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior mir-
ror; the associated functions would
no longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the lighting duration to
15, 30 or 60 seconds in the vehi-
cle parameters on the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic lighting
is in operation.
Automatic lighting
The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically,
without any action on the part of the
driver, when a low level of external light
is detected (sensor behind the interior
m i r r o r ) o r w h e n t h e w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s
are switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lighting is
switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's ignition, to make the driver's exit easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s the function off again.
Switching off
The "fguide-me-home" lighting is switched
off automatically following the door lock-
ing command, after a given time. Activation
Turn ring A to the " AUTO " position.
The automatic lighting is accompanied
by a message on the multifunction
screen. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
the brightness sensor, the light-
ing comes on accompanied by
the service warning lamp, an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Daytime running lamps *

lamps, the dipped headlamps come on
when the vehicle is started.
This indicator lamp comes on
on the instrument panel.

STATIC DIRECTIONAL
LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-lamps are on, this function enables the beam to light the inside of the turn with an additional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above all at low and average speed (city driving, w i n d i n g r o a d s , . . . ) .

Switching on
The system is switched on from a certain speed and a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
Operating fault The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
By default, this function is activated.
In the event of a malfunction,

the instrument panel, accom-
panied by a message on the

Switching off
The system is switched off below a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is engaged.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, the height of the headlamps should be adjusted in relation to the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for the replacement of a
faulty bulb with a new bulb without the
use of tools.
1. Direction indicators
(PY 21 W amber).
2. Sidelamps
(W5W).
3. Dipped
beam
headlamps (H7-55W).
4. Main beam headlamps (H1-55W).
5. Directional headlamps (H7-55W).
6. Foglamps
(H11-55W). Changing the direction indicator
bulbs
Handle the bulbs with a dry
cloth.
T h e h e a d l a m p s a r e fi t t e d w i t h p o l y -
carbonate glass with a protective
c o a t i n g :
do not clean them using a dry
or abrasive cloth, or using a
detergent or solvent product,
use a sponge and soapy water.
In certain climatic conditions (low
t e m p e r a t u r e , h u m i d i t y ) ,
condensa-
tion on the internal surface of the
glass of the headlamps and rear
lamps
is normal ; it disappears a
few minutes after the lamps are
switched on . Model with elliptical module dipped
beam headlamps and directional
headlamps
Amber coloured bulbs, such as the
direction indicators, must be re-
placed with bulbs of identical speci-
fi c a t i o n a n d c o l o u r .
Turn the bulb holder one quarter of
a turn and remove it.
Pull the bulb then change it.

verse order.
