O n c e t h e " D i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n " m e n u
has been selected, you gain access to
the following parameters:
- selection of the palette of colours available for the display,
- setting of the brightness and bril- liance of the display,
- setting of the date and time (12 or 24 hour mode, adjustment of the
minutes on GPS),
- selection of the units (temperature in °Celsius or °Fahrenheit; consump-
tion in l/100 km or mpg or km/l).

"Video" menu
Sounds
Once the "Sounds" menu has been se-
lected, you gain access to the following
parameters:
- setting of the voice commands,
- setting of the voice synthesiser
(volume, male or female),
- activation of the auxiliary input AUX.
Choice of language
Once the "Choice of language" menu
has been selected, you gain access to
the following parameters:
- selection of the display language (Français, English, Italiano, Portugues,
Espanol, Deutsch, Nederlands,
Türkçe * ),
- selection of the information and voice commands language (Français,
English, Italiano, Portugues, Espanol,
Deutsch, Nederlands, Türkçe * ).
You can connect video equipment
(camcorder, digital camera, DVD play-
er, ...) to the three audio/video sockets,
located in the glove box.
Videos can only be displayed when
stationary.
Once this menu has been selected, you
can select:
- "Activate video mode" to activate/ deactivate the video,
- "Video parameters" to set the display format, the brightness, the contrast
and the colours.
Press the "MODE" or "DARK" but-
ton to disconnect the displaying of the
video.
Press the "SOURCE" button sev-
eral times in succession to select an
audio source other than that of the
video.
The PC Com must reinitialise and
re-start in order to change the voice
used by the voice synthesiser (male
or female) or the language used by
the system.
For safety reasons, it is imperative
t h a t c o n fi g u r a t i o n o f t h e m u l t i f u n c -
tion screens by the driver is done
only when stationary.

Displays on the screen
This displays the following information
automatically and directly:
- the time,
- the date,
- the altitude,
- the ambient temperature (the value d i s p l a y e d fl a s h e s i f t h e r e i s a r i s k o f
ice),
- the check on openings,
- the warning and vehicle function status messages, displayed tempo-
rarily,
- the audio functions,
- the trip computer information,
- the satellite navigation system infor- mation. Controls
From the PC Nav control panel, to select
one of the applications:
press the dedicated "RADIO" , "MU-
SIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" , "SETUP"
or "PHONE" button for access to the
corresponding menu,
turn the navigator to move the se-
lection,
p r e s s t h e n a v i g a t o r t o c o n fi r m t h e
selection,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the current operation and return to
the previous display.

"SETUP" menu
Press the "SETUP" button for access
to the "SETUP" menu. This allows you
to select from the following functions:
- "System language",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Vehicle",
- "Units",
- "System".
System language
This menu allows you to select the lan-
guage used by the display: Deutsch,
English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Polski, Portugues, Türkçe * .

Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date
and time, the format of the date and the
format of the time (refer to the "Audio
a n d T e l e m a t i c s " s e c t i o n o r t o t h e s p e c i fi c
user guide given to you with the other
owner's documents). Display
This menu allows you to set the bright-
ness of the screen, the screen colour
scheme and the colour of the map (day/
night or auto mode).
Vehicle
This menu allows you to activate or
deactivate certain driving and comfort
equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer
to the "Visibility" section),
- guide-me-home lighting and dura- tion (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section).
Units
This menu allows you to select the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and con-
sumption (km/l, l/100 or mpg).
System
This menu allows you to restore the factory
c o n fi g u r a t i o n , d i s p l a y t h e s o f t w a r e v e r s i o n
and activate the scrolling text. For safety reasons, it is imperative
t h a t c o n fi g u r a t i o n o f t h e m u l t i f u n c -
tion screens by the driver is done
only when stationary.

When the engine is cold, to prevent
too great a distribution of cold
a i r , t h e a i r fl o w w i l l o n l y r e a c h i t s
optimum level gradually. The air conditioning can only operate with the engine running.
The driver and his front
passenger can each set
the temperature to suit their
requirements.
Turn dial 2 or 3 to the left to reduce
the value or to the right to increase it.
A setting around 21 enables you to
obtain an optimum level of comfort.
Depending on your requirements, a
setting between 18 and 24 is usual.
In addition, it is recommended that you avoid a left/right setting difference of more than 3.
4. Automatic visibility programme
The automatic comfort pro-
g r a m m e m a y n o t b e s u f fi c i e n t
to quickly demist or defrost
the windscreen and side win-
dows (humidity, several pas-
sengers, ice...).
In this case, select the automatic vis-
ibility programme.
The system automatically controls the
a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , t h e a i r fl o w a n d t h e a i r
intake and provides optimum distribution
of the ventilation to the windscreen and
side windows.

DUAL-ZONE AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING
We recommend that you use this mode: it provides optimised automatic control of all of the functions, passenger compartment t e m p e r a t u r e , a i r fl o w , a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n a n d air recirculation, in accordance with the comfort value that you have selected.
This system is designed to operate
effectively in all seasons, with the
windows closed. The value indicated on the display corresponds to a level of comfort and not to a temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Folding the seat (Saloon)
To fold a rear seat without any risk of
damage to it, always start with the
seat cushion, never the seat back
:
move the corresponding front seat
forward if necessary,
raise the front of the seat cushion 1 ,
tilt the seat cushion 1 against the front seat,
check that the seat belt is positioned correctly on the side of the seat back,
Repositioning the seat (Saloon)
When repositioning the rear seat:
straighten the seat back 3 and
secure it,
fold back the seat cushion 1 .
pull control 2 upwards to release the seat back 3 ,
place the head restraints in the low position or remove them if necessary,
tilt the seat back 3 .
The seat cushion 1 can be removed
to increase the loading volume.

Folding the seat (SW)
This operation can be carried out at the rear seats or through the opening rear screen.
To fold a rear seat without any risk of
damage:
move the corresponding front seat
forward if necessary,
place the head restraints in the low
position, Check that no object could hinder
the movement of the bench seat,
either above or below.
Repositioning the seat (SW)
pull the control 1 forward to release
the seat back 2 which folds easily
onto the seat cushion 3 .
When repositioning the rear seat,
straighten the seat back 2 and lock it.
Check that the red indicator, located at control 1 , is no longer visible.

MIRRORS
Exterior mirrors
Adjustable mirror permitting the lateral
rearward vision necessary when over-
taking or parking. Folding
from outside: lock the vehicle using
the remote control or the key.
from inside: with the ignition on, pull
switch A rearwards.
Manual model A d j u s t m e n t
Move the lever in all four directions
to direct the mirror correctly.
The folding and unfolding of the ex-
terior mirrors can be deactivated by
a PEUGEOT dealer.
Folding
When parked, fold the mirror manu-
ally to protect it.
Unfolding
Before starting, unfold the mirror.
Electric model
A d j u s t m e n t
Slide switch A to the right or to the left
to select the corresponding mirror.
Move knob B in all four directions to
adjust.
Return switch A to the centre position. Unfolding
from outside: unlock the vehicle using
the remote control or the key.
from inside: with the ignition on, pull
switch A rearwards.

High load retaining net (SW)
H o o k e d o n t o t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s a n d o n t o
the ISOFIX rings or the lugs, this per-
mits use of the entire loading volume up
to the roof:
- behind the rear seats (row 2),
- behind the front seats (row 1) when the rear seats are folded.
To use it in row 1:
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 1 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding
u p p e r fi x i n g 1 , then do the same
with the other end,
slacken the straps fully,
fi x t h e s n a p h o o k o f e a c h o f t h e s t r a p s
on the corresponding lug 3 , located
under the bench seat cushion,
fold the rear seats,
tighten the straps without raising the
bench seat,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly. To use it in row 2:
fold or remove the load space cover,
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 2 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding upper
fi x i n g 2 , then do the same with the
other end,
attach the hook of each of the net's
straps in the corresponding ISOFIX
ring 4 ,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and tightened correctly.
When positioning the net, check
that the strap loops are visible from
the boot; this will make slackening
or tightening easier.
