Manual follow-me-home lighting
The temporary maintaining of the
dipped headlamps lighting after the ve-
hicle's ignition has been switched off
makes the driver's exit easier when the
light is poor.
Switching on

The manual follow-me-home lighting
switches off automatically after a set
time.
Daytime lights
System which permits switching on of the
special lights at the front (low consump-
t i o n ) , s o t h a t y o u c a n b e s e e n d u r i n g t h e
daytime.
The daytime lights come on automatically
w h e n t h e v e h i c l e i s s t a r t e d , i f fi t t e d * .
The instruments and controls (multi-
function display, air conditioning control
p a n e l , . . . ) a r e n o t l i t , e x c e p t w h e n t h e
lights are switched on manually or au-
tomatically.

Exterior welcome lighting
The remote switching on of the lights
makes your approach to the vehicle
easier in poor light. It operates with
the automatic switching on of the lights
mode activated.

The exterior welcome lighting switches
off automatically after a set time, when
the ignition is switched on or on locking
the vehicle.
Programming
In countries in which this
function is not imposed by
regulations, you can acti-
vate or deactivate it via the
multifunction display con-
fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .

of the lighting is selected
via the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
The duration of the welcome
lighting is associated with and
identical to that of the automatic
follow-me-home lighting.
In countries in which it is imposed by
regulations:
- by default, this function is activated,
- the side lights and the number plate
l i g h t s a r e a l s o s w i t c h e d o n * .
Press the open padlock on
the remote control.
The dipped headlamps and the side
lights come on; your vehicle is also un-
locked.

In fog or snow, the brightness
s e n s o r m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t
light. Therefore, the lights will
not come on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sensor,
coupled with the rain sensor and lo-
cated in the centre of the windscreen
behind the interior mirror; the asso-
ciated functions would no longer be
controlled.
Coupling with the automatic
"Follow-me-home" lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "follow-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the duration of maintaining
of the lighting for 15, 30 or 60 seconds
in the vehicle parameters on the multi-
f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "follow-me- home" lighting when automatic lighting
is in operation.
Automatic lighting
The side lights and dipped headlamps
are switched on automatically, without
any action on the part of the driver,
when a low level of external light is de-
tected or in certain cases of activation
of the windscreen wipers.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lights are
switched off automatically.
Activation
Turn ring A to the "AUTO" position.
The automatic lighting is accom-
panied by a message on the multi-
function display.
Deactivation
Turn ring A to a position other than
"AUTO" . Deactivation is accom-
panied by a message on the multi-
function display. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
the brightness sensor, the lights
come on, this warning light is
displayed on the instrument
panel and/or a message appears on
the multifunction display, accompanied
by an audible signal.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
MANUAL HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the halogen
headlamps should be adjusted in rela-
tion to the load in the vehicle.

DIRECTIONAL LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-
lamps are on, this function enables the
light beam to follow the direction of the
road.
The use of this function, coupled with the
xenon headlamps only, considerably im-
proves the quality of your lighting when
cornering.

The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-

If a malfunction occurs, this warn-
i n g l i g h t fl a s h e s o n t h e i n s t r u m e n t
panel, accompanied by a mes-
sage on the multifunction display.

AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT OF THE XENON HEADLAMPS
If a malfunction occurs, do not
touch the xenon bulbs. Consult
a PEUGEOT dealer.
In order to avoid causing a nuisance to
other road users, this system corrects
the height of the xenon headlamps beam
automatically and when stationary, in rela-
tion to the load in the vehicle.
If a malfunction occurs, this warn-
ing lamp is displayed on the in-
strument panel, accompanied by
an audible signal and a message
on the multifunction screen.
The system then places your head-
lamps in the lowest position.
When stationary or moving
at very low speed or when
reverse gear is engaged, the
function is inactive.
The status of the function remains
in the memory when the ignition is
switched off.

Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, the
rear wiper will come into operation if the
windscreen wipers are operating.
Programming
Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-
wards you. The windscreen wash
then the windscreen wipers operate
f o r a fi x e d p e r i o d .
If the dipped headlamps are on , the
headlamp washers operate at the same
time.
Rear wiper
I f a s i g n i fi c a n t a c c u m u l a t i o n
of snow or ice is present, or
when using a bicycle carrier
on the boot, deactivate the automatic
rear wiper via the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
The function is activated or de-
activated via the multifunction
d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
This function is activated
by default. Screenwash/headlamp wash low

headlamp washers, when the
minimum level of the reservoir
is reached, this warning light is
displayed on the instrument panel, ac-
companied by an audible signal and a
message on the multifunction display.

The warning light is displayed when the
ignition is switched on, or every time the
stalk is operated, until the reservoir is
fi l l e d .

The windscreen wipers operate auto-
matically, without any action on the part
of the driver, if rain is detected (sensor
b e h i n d t h e i n t e r i o r m i r r o r ) , a d a p t i n g t h e i r
speed to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
This is controlled manually by the driver by
pushing lever A to the "AUTO" position.
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction display. In the minute following switching off
of the ignition, any action on the stalk
positions the wipers in the centre of the
windscreen.
This action enables you to position the
wiper blades for winter parking, clean-
ing or replacement.
To park the wipers after this has been
done, switch on the ignition and operate
the stalk.
Do not cover the rain sensor,
linked with the brightness sen-
sor and located in the centre
of the windscreen behind the interior
mirror.
Switch off the automatic wiping when
using an automatic car wash.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until
the windscreen is completely clear
of ice before activating the automatic
wiping. The automatic wiping must be
reactivated if the ignition has
been off for more than one
minute, by pushing lever A down-
wards.

by moving lever A upwards and return-
ing it to position "0" .
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction display. Operating fault
If an automatic wiping malfunction oc-
curs, the wipers will operate in intermittent
mode.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
For optimum and lasting
w i p i n g o f t h e " fl a t - b l a d e " w i p e r
blades, it is advisable to:
- handle them with care,
- clean them regularly using soapy water,
- change them approximately every 6 months,
- avoid using them to retain card- board on the windscreen.
