preheating Fixed This comes on when the
ignition switch is in the
ON position. Wait until this switches off before starting.
The duration for which this is lit is determined
by the exterior climatic conditions.
Handbrake/ B r a k e fl u i d level Fixed This comes on for a few
seconds when the ignition
is turned to "ON" then
switches off.
It is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display.
The handbrake is applied
or has not been released
fully. It is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display. Release the
handbrake to switch off the warning light.

DISTANCE RECORDERS (A/B)
System for measuring the total dis-
tance travelled by the vehicle during its
service life and the distance travelled in
a day or other period until it is reset to
zero by the driver.
Zero reset
With the ignition on, press the INFO
button for more than 2 seconds until
zeros appear.
When the engine is run-
ning, this indicates the tem-
perature of the coolant.
COOLANT TEMPERATURE
If the bar is close to the critical position
located on the right, the temperature is
too high.

the last few miles/kilo-
metres travelled.
RANGE
When the range is less than 30 miles
(50 km) , dashes are displayed.
Fill the fuel tank as soon as possible.
The display of the range is updated.
To avoid any risk of scalding, unscrew
the cap by two turns to allow the pres-
sure to drop.
When the pressure has dropped, re-
move the cap and top up the level, if
necessary.
Consult a CITROËN dealer. T h i s fi g u r e m a y i n c r e a s e f o l l o w i n g a
change in the style of driving or the
relief, resulting in a reduction in the
current consumption.
If you only add a few litres, the value
displayed will be incorrect. There-
f o r e , y o u m u s t fi l l t h e t a n k w h e n e v e r
possible.
When you disconnect the battery,
the previous consumption data is
lost and the value displayed will
be different from that displayed before
the battery was disconnected. The dis-
tance displayed must be considered
an approximate indication.

a few seconds to display the "UNIT"
screen.
press the INFO button to scroll the
units (km/L, L/100km, mpg(US),
mpg(UK) and PREVIOUS) in suc-
cession.
press and hold the INFO button for
a f e w s e c o n d s t o c o n fi r m y o u r s e -
lection.
In this case, the distance, speed and
q u a n t i t y o f f u e l u n i t s w i l l a l s o b e c h a n g e d
in accordance with your choice of fuel
consumption unit.
If the battery is disconnected, the
parameter memory is cleared and
the default unit (km/L) is restored
automatically.

the temperature unit parameters
symbol (thermometer).
press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds to scroll the units (°C

If the battery is disconnected, the pa-
rameter memory is cleared and the
default unit (°C) is restored automati-
cally.

You can choose between two average
consumption and average speed reini-
tialisation modes:
- automatic reinitialisation ( choice 1) ,
- manual reinitialisation (choice 2) .
On the menus screen:

sion from reinitialisation mode 1
(automatic) to reinitialisation mode
2 (manual) .

On the menus screen:

for a few seconds to display the
"LANGUAGE" screen.
press the INFO button to scroll the
languages (Japonais, English, Deut-
sch, Français, Espanol, Italiano, "--"
and PREVIOUS) in succession.
press and hold the INFO button for
a f e w s e c o n d s t o c o n fi r m y o u r s e -
lection.
If you select the parameter "---", no
message will be displayed in mes-
sage display situations. If the battery is disconnected, the
parameter memory is cleared and
the default language (ENGLISH) is
restored automatically.

You can activate or deactivate the
INFO
button sound.
On the menus screen:

(ON, OFF) in succession.

press the INFO button to select
"ALERT" (located on menu 2/3) .
press and hold the INFO button
for a few seconds to display the
"ALERT" screen.

the display interval of the "BREAK
REMINDER" message.
press and hold the INFO button for

If the battery is disconnected, the pa-
rameter memory is cleared and the
default value (OFF) is restored auto-
matically.
