EXTERIOR MIRRORS
Adjustment
The mirrors can be adjusted when the
ignition switch is in the "ON" or "ACC"
p o s i t i o n .
Move control A to the right or to the
l e f t t o s e l e c t t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g m i r r o r .
Direct control B in all four directions
t o a d j u s t t h e m i r r o r .
W h e n a d j u s t m e n t i s c o m p l e t e , r e t u r n
control A t o t h e c e n t r a l p o s i t i o n . Electric folding/unfolding
- from inside, with the ignition switch
i n t h e " O N " o r " A C C " p o s i t i o n :

- from inside, with the ignition switch i n t h e " L O C K " p o s i t i o n :

The folding and unfolding of the exte-

d e a c t i v a t e d b y a C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r . The mirrors can also be folded
m a n u a l l y .
If you have folded the mirrors us-
ing the control C , you must use this
control to unfold them, otherwise the
m i r r o r s w i l l n o t b e l o c k e d c o r r e c t l y .
If you switch the engine off then re-
start it with the mirrors folded, they
will unfold automatically when the
v e h i c l e r e a c h e s 2 0 m p h ( 3 0 k m / h ) .
If the mirrors have been folded manu-
ally or electrically after starting the
engine, they are not unfolded auto-
m a t i c a l l y .

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Pull the locking lever downwards
( p o s i t i o n B ) w h i l e s u p p o r t i n g t h e
s t e e r i n g w h e e l .
Adjust the steering wheel to the re-
q u i r e d h e i g h t .
L o c k t h e s t e e r i n g w h e e l b y p u s h i n g
t h e l e v e r u p w a r d s ( p o s i t i o n A ) .
SUN VISOR
The sun visors fold forwards, and to the
s i d e w h e n t h e y a r e u n h o o k e d .
T h e y a r e fi t t e d w i t h a c o u r t e s y m i r r o r
a n d a t i c k e t h o l d e r .
A s a s a f e t y p r e c a u t i o n , i t i s i m -
p e r a t i v e t h a t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s
are carried out while the vehicle
i s s t a t i o n a r y .

Unfolding the key
First press button A to unfold the
key.
Unlocking the vehicle
Press the open padlock to
unlock the vehicle.
Unlocking using the remote control
REMOTE CONTROL KEY
System which permits central unlock-
ing or locking of the vehicle using the
lock or from a distance. It also folds and
unfolds the mirrors, closes the electric
windows and starts the vehicle, as well
as providing protection against theft.
Locking the vehicle
Unlocking using the key
Turn the key to the right in the driver's
door lock to unlock the vehicle.
Press the closed padlock
to lock the vehicle.
If one of the doors or the tailgate is
still open, the central locking will not
take place.
U n l o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y t h e i n t e r i o r
lighting which comes on for approxi-
mately 15 seconds and the direction
i n d i c a t o r s w h i c h fl a s h
twice .
If you press the open padlock twice in
succession within 30 seconds after
unlocking the vehicle, the exterior mir-
rors unfold.
Normal locking using the key
Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock to lock the vehicle.
L o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y t h e d i r e c t i o n
indicators which come on
once .
If you press the closed padlock twice
in succession within 30 seconds after
locking the vehicle, the exterior mirrors
fold.
An extended press on the closed
padlock within 30 seconds after locking
the vehicle permits automatic closing of
the windows.

Equipment, contrast, traffic information (TP)
F - Choose to adjust or set the param-eters of certain equipment offered in
your vehicle (e.g.: unfolding/folding
of the mirrors, raising of the windows
on locking, timing and sensitivity of
the automatic lighting, direction indi-
cators motorway function, ...):
F1 - to scroll up the list,
F2 - o scroll down the list,
F3 - to reinitialise all of the settings (manufacturer's settings).
Press each setting to select or change the parameters.
G - Choose to adjust the contrast of the display in relation to the exte-
rior light (day, night or automatic).
H - Choose to activate or deactivate t h e t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n ( T P ) .
