ACCESS
Emergency control
System which locks or unlocks the
doors mechanically in the event of a
malfunction of the battery or of the cen-
tral locking.
Insert the key in the lock, located on
the edge of the door, then turn it one
eighth of a turn . Opening
After unlocking the vehicle com-
pletely using the remote control or
the key, pull the handle and raise
the tailgate.

Unlocking
Fold back the rear seats to gain
access to the lock from inside the
boot.
Insert a small screwdriver into hole

Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the right.

the tank.
FUEL TANK
Capacity of the tank: approximately
60 litres.
T o fi l l t h e t a n k s a f e l y :
it is essential that the engine is
switched off,
o p e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p ,
insert the key in the cap, then turn it
to the left,
W h e n fi l l i n g i s c o m p l e t e :
put the cap back in place,
turn the key to the right, then remove
it from the cap,
c l o s e t h e fl a p .
remove the cap and secure it on the
hook, located on the inside of the
fl a p ,
fi l l t h e t a n k , b u t do not continue
after the 3rd cut-off of the nozzle ;
this could cause malfunctions.
Low fuel level
Filling
A l a b e l a f fi x e d t o t h e i n s i d e o f t h e fl a p
reminds you of the type of fuel to be
used according to your engine.
Operating fault
A fuel gauge malfunction is indicated by
the return of the fuel level indicator nee-
dle to zero.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer. When the fuel tank minimum
level is reached, this warning
light comes on on the instru-
ment panel, accompanied by
an audible signal and a message on the
multifunction display.
You have enough fuel left to drive ap-
proximately 30 miles (50 km).
If you run out of fuel, refer to the "Practical
information" section also.

with the following additional options:
- selection of the duration of
maintaining of the lighting for 15,
30 or 60 seconds in the vehicle
parameters on the multifunction
d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "follow-me- home" lighting when automatic
lighting is in operation.
Automatic lighting
The side lights and dipped headlamps
are switched on automatically, without
any action on the part of the driver,
w h e n a l o w l e v e l o f e x t e r n a l l i g h t i s d e -
tected or in certain cases of activation
of the windscreen wipers.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lights are
switched off automatically.

When the dipped or main beam head-
lamps are on, this function enables the
light beam to follow the direction of the
road.

AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT OF THE DIRECTIONAL HEADLAMPS

In order to avoid causing a nuisance to
other road users, this system corrects
t h e h e i g h t o f t h e x e n o n h e a d l a m p s b e a m
automatically and when stationary, in re-
lation to the load in the vehicle.
If a malfunction occurs, this
warning light and/or the service
warning light is displayed on the
instrument panel, accompanied
by an audible signal and a message on
the multifunction display.
The system then places your head-
lamps in the lowest position. When stationary or moving at very
low speed or when reverse gear is
engaged, the function is inactive.
The status of the function remains
in the memory when the ignition is
switched off.
