MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAYS
General menu "Audio functions" menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the general menu :
- audio functions,
- vehicle diagnostics,
- p e r s o n a l i s a t i o n - c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- telephone (hands-free kit).
Press the " " or " " buttons to select
t h e m e n u r e q u i r e d , t h e n c o n fi r m b y
pressing the "OK" button.
With the WIP Sound switched on, once
t h i s m e n u h a s b e e n s e l e c t e d y o u c a n
activate or deactivate the functions
linked with use of the radio (RDS, REG,
RadioText), the CD or the CD changer
( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e , C D r e p e a t ) .

the WIP Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.
MONOCHROME SCREEN C (WITH WIP SOUND)
Displays on the screen
T h i s d i s p l a y s t h e f o l l o w i n g i n f o r m a t i o n :
- the time,
- the date,
- t h e o u t s i d e t e m p e r a t u r e ( t h i s fl a s h e s if there is a risk of ice),
- the status of the accesses (doors, boot...),
- the audio sources (radio, CD...),
- the trip computer (refer to the end of the section).
Warning messages (e.g.: "Emission
c o n t r o l s y s t e m f a u l t y " ) o r i n f o r m a t i o n
messages (e.g.: "Automatic switching
o n o f t h e h e a d l a m p s a c t i v a t e d " ) m a y
a p p e a r t e m p o r a r i l y . T h e s e c a n b e

the current operation and return to

SAFETY
TYRE UNDER-INFLATION DETECTION
System which automatically checks the
pressure of the tyres while driving. All repairs and changing of tyres on
a w h e e l fi t t e d w i t h t h i s s y s t e m m u s t
be carried out by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
If, when changing a tyre, you in-
stall a wheel which is not detected
b y y o u r v e h i c l e ( e x a m p l e : fi t t i n g
of snow tyres), you must have the
system reinitialised by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
This system does not eliminate
the need to have the tyre pres-
sure checked regularly (refer to the
" I d e n t i fi c a t i o n f e a t u r e s " p a r a g r a p h )
to ensure that the optimum dynamic
performance of the vehicle is main-
tained and prevent premature wear
of the tyres, particularly in arduous
driving conditions (heavy load, high
speed).
The tyre pressures must be
checked cold, at least once a
month. Remember to check the
pressure of the spare wheel.
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system may experience temporary
interference due to radioelectric
emissions on a frequency close to
that used by the system.
S e n s o r s fi t t e d i n e a c h v a l v e t r i g g e r a
warning in the event of malfunction
(speed above 12 mph (20 km/h)).
This warning light is displayed
on the instrument panel and/or
a message appears on the mul-
tifunction display, accompanied
by an audible signal, to locate
the wheel concerned.
Check the tyre pressures as soon as possible.
This check must be carried out when
the tyres are cold.
Flat tyre The
STOP warning light comes
on and/or this warning light is
displayed on the instrument
panel, accompanied by an au-
dible signal and a message on the mul-
tifunction display locating the wheel
concerned.
Stop immediately, avoiding any sud- den movement of the steering wheel
and the brakes.
Change the damaged wheel (punc- t u r e d o r v e r y d e fl a t e d t y r e ) , a n d
have the tyre pressure checked as
soon as possible.
Puncture
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system is an aid to driving which does
not replace the need for the driver to
be vigilant or to drive responsibly. Sensor(s) not detected or faulty
This warning light is displayed
on the instrument panel and/or
a message appears on the mul-
tifunction display, accompanied
by an audible signal, to locate the wheel
or wheels which are not detected or to
indicate a fault in the system.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to replace
the faulty sensor(s).
This message is also displayed
when one of the wheels is away
from the vehicle (being repaired) or
when one or more wheels without a
s e n s o r a r e fi t t e d .

AUDIO
Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select the radio.
Press the BAND AST button to select a waveband: FM1, FM2, FMast, AM.
B r i e fl y p r e s s o n e o f t h e b u t t o n s t o carry out an automatic search of the radio stations.
Press one of the buttons to carry out a manual search of the radio stations.
Press the LIST REFRESH button to display the list of stations received l o c a l l y ( 3 0 s t a t i o n s m a x i m u m ) . To update this list, press for more than two seconds.
Select ACTIVATE FREQUENCY F O L L O W I N G ( R D S ) t h e n p r e s s O K . RDS appears on the display.
Select the FM WAVEBAND PREFERENCES function then press OK.
Select AUDIO FUNCTIONS then press OK.
Press the MENU button.

ACTIVATE FREQUENCY FOLLOWING (RDS)
T h e e x t e r n a l e n v i r o n m e n t ( h i l l s , b u i l d i n g s , t u n n e l s , b a s e m e n t c a r p a r k s ) m a y b l o c k r e c e p t i o n , i n c l u d i n g in RDS mode. This is a normal effect of the way in which radio waves are transmitted and does not indicate any failure of the audio equipment.
RDS
The RDS, if displayed, enables you to continue listening to the same station by means of frequency following. Howev er, in certain conditions, this RDS station is not followed throughout the country as radio stations do not cover 100 % of the territory. This explains the loss of reception of the station during a journey.
