From the WIP Com 3D control panel, to
select one of the applications:
press the dedicated "RADIO" ,
"MEDIA" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" ,
"ADDR BOOK" or "SETUP" button
to gain access to the corresponding
menu,
turn the navigator to move the
selection,
p r e s s t h e n a v i g a t o r t o c o n fi r m t h e
selection,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the current operation and return to
t h e p r e v i o u s d i s p l a y . For operation of the retractable
d i s p l a y ( o p e n i n g , c l o s i n g , a d j u s t -
ment of the position, etc.), refer

Access to the retractable screen
Opening the screen
With the screen stored, press
control A to open it.
T h e s c r e e n o p e n s a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n
the ignition is switched on, when the
a u d i o a n d t e l e m a t i c s s y s t e m i s s w i t c h e d
on, when an outgoing telephone call is
made, when a voice command is given
and when a warning message linked
with the STOP warning light is received.
This screen is opened and stored auto-
m a t i c a l l y .

With the screen open, press con-
trol A to store it.

t e l e m a t i c s s y s t e m i s o f f .
I f y o u w i s h t h e s c r e e n t o o p e n o r
c l o s e a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n t h e a u d i o
a n d t e l e m a t i c s s y s t e m i s s w i t c h e d
on or off, the screen must not be
closed when the audio and telema-
t i c s s y s t e m i s o p e r a t i n g . W h e n t h e s c r e e n i s o p e n , y o u c a n
a d j u s t i t p r e c i s e l y i n d i f f e r e n t w a y s :
press the corresponding part of con-
trol B to move the screen towards

Adjusting the position of the screen
S a f e t y a u t o - r e v e r s e
If the screen meets an obstacle as it
opens or closes, the movement stops
i m m e d i a t e l y a n d i s r e v e r s e d b y a f e w
millimetres.
After clearing the obstacle, issue the
command required again. Storing the position of the screen
T h e s y s t e m h a s f o u r p r e - s e t p o s i t i o n s
i n i t s m e m o r y .
Each time the screen is closed, the
s y s t e m s t o r e s t h e l a s t p o s i t i o n o f t h e
screen.
Each time the screen is re-opened, the
s y s t e m r e t u r n s t h e s c r e e n t o t h e p r e - s e t
position closest to that stored.
I f y o u c l o s e t h e s c r e e n d u r i n g o p e r a -
t i o n o f t h e a u d i o a n d t e l e m a t i c s s y s -
t e m , i t w i l l o n l y r e - o p e n a u t o m a t i c a l l y
when an outgoing telephone call is
made, when a voice command is
given or when a warning message
linked with the STOP warning light is
received.

when it exceeds 60 miles (100 km).

while driving in place of the digits,

When the required route is dis-
p l a y e d , p r e s s t h e "OK" button on
the navigator, associated with the
WIP Com 3D.
Routes "1" and "2" are independent
but their use is identical.
Route "1" p e r m i t s , f o r e x a m p l e , d a i l y
calculations, and route "2" m o n t h l y
calculations.

COMFORT
When the engine is cold, to prevent
too great a distribution of cold air,
t h e a i r fl o w w i l l r e a c h i t s o p t i m u m
level gradually.
In cold weather, it favours the distri-
bution of warm air to the windscreen,
side windows and footwells only. On entering the vehicle, if the inte-
rior temperature is much colder or
warmer than the comfort value, there
is no need to change the value dis-
played in order to obtain the comfort
required. The system corrects the
difference in temperature automati-
cally and as quickly as possible.
The air conditioning only operates when
the engine is running. The driver and his front
passenger can each adjust
the temperature to their
requirements.
Turn control 2 or 3 to the left or to
the right respectively to decrease or
increase this value.
A setting around the value 21 provides
optimum comfort. However, depending
on your requirements, a setting between
18 and 24 is normal.
You are advised to avoid a left/right
setting difference of more than 3. 4. Automatic visibility programme
The automatic comfort pro-
g r a m m e m a y n o t b e s u f fi c i e n t
to quickly demist or de-ice the
windscreen and side windows
(humidity, several passengers,
ice, etc.).
In this case, select the automatic
visibility programme.
The system automatically controls the
a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , t h e a i r fl o w a n d t h e a i r
intake and provides optimum distri bution
of the ventilation to the windscreen and
side windows.
Automatic operation
Press the "AUTO" button.
The indicator light on the

DUAL ZONE AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING
We recommend the use of this mode:
it permits automatic and optimised
adjustment of all of the functions, pas-
senger compartment temperature,
a i r fl o w , a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n a n d a i r r e c i r c u -
lation, in accordance with the comfort
value that you have chosen.
This system is designed to operate
effectively in all seasons, with auto matic
a d a p t a t i o n i n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n . The value indicated on the display
corresponds to a level of comfort and
not to a temperature in degrees Celsius
or Fahrenheit.
To switch it off, press the "visibility"
button again or press the "AUTO"
button, the indicator light on the button
switches off and the indicator light on
the "AUTO" button comes on.

COMFORT
Manual operation
If you wish, you can make a different
choice from that offered by the system
by changing a setting. The other func-
tions will still be controlled automati-
cally.
Pressing the "AUTO" button returns
the system to completely automatic
operation.

This action switches off all of the functions
of the system.
Temperature related comfort is no longer
g u a r a n t e e d b u t a s l i g h t fl o w o f a i r , d u e
to the movement of the vehicle, can still
be felt.

press the "AUTO" button to reacti-
vate the system with the values set
before it was switched off.
Press this button for recir-
culation of the interior air.
The indicator light on the
button comes on.
5. Air conditioning On/Off
Avoid driving for prolonged periods
with the system off.
Avoid prolonged recirculation of
interior air (risk of condensation and
deterioration of the air quality).

For maximum cooling or heating
of the passenger compartment, it
is possible to exceed the minimum
value 14 or the maximum value 28.
Turn control 2 or 3 to the left
until "LO" is displayed or to the
right until "HI" is displayed. 9. Mono zone/Dual zone
Press this button to equa-
lise the comfort value on
the passenger side with that
on the driver's side (mono
zone). The indicator light on
the button comes on.
Air recirculation enables the passenger
compartment to be isolated from exte-
rior odours and smoke.
Switching the system off could result in
discomfort (humidity, condensation).
Press this button again to return to
automatic operation of the air con-
ditioning. The indicator light on the
"A/C" button comes on.

ACCESS
Unlocking and partial opening of the
boot
Press this button for more
than two seconds to unlock
the boot. The boot opens
slightly.
This action unlocks the v e h i c l e fi r s t .
Press the open padlock
once to unlock the driver's
door only.
Selective unlocking using the
remote control E a c h u n l o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y r a p i d
fl a s h i n g o f t h e d i r e c t i o n i n d i c a t o r s f o r
approximately two seconds.
According to version, the exterior
mirrors unfold at the same time as the
fi r s t u n l o c k i n g a c t i o n .
Selective unlocking using the key
Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock once to unlock the driver's
door only.
Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock again to unlock the
passenger's door and the boot. The complete or selective
unlocking parameter is set
via the multifunction display
c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
System which permits central unlocking
and locking of the vehicle using the lock
or from a distance, as well as of the
interior storage compartments (glove
box and front armrest). It is also used to
locate and start the vehicle, as well as
providing protection against theft.
Unfolding the key
First press button A to unfold the key.
Unlocking the vehicle U n l o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y r a p i d fl a s h i n g
of the direction indicators for approxi-
mately two seconds.
The central unlocking also unlocks
the glove box and the front armrest
compartment.
According to version, the exterior
mirrors unfold at the same time.
Press the open padlock to
unlock the vehicle. Complete unlocking using the key

door lock to unlock the vehicle.
Complete unlocking using the
remote control
Press the open padlock again to
unlock the passenger's door and the
boot.
Complete unlocking is activated by default.
