When parking on a slope, direct
your wheels to chock them against
the pavement, pull the handbrake
and engage a gear.
HANDBRAKE
Mechanical brake to hold the vehicle
when stationary.
Applying
Pull the handbrake to immobilise
your vehicle. When the vehicle is being
driven, if this warning light and
STOP the warning light come
on, accompanied by an audible
signal and a message on the multi-func-
tion display, this indicates that the hand-
brake is still on or has not been properly
released.
Releasing
Pull on the handle and press the
button A to release the handbrake.
