Brake disc/drum wear status
For any information relating to the
wear of the surfaces of the discs and
drums, contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Oil filter

It may be necessary to check
the thickness of the pads,
even between services.
Unless there is a leak in the circuit, a
d r o p i n t h e b r a k e fl u i d l e v e l i n d i c a t e s
that the brake pads are worn.
Only use products recom-
mended by PEUGEOT or
products of equivalent quali-
ty and characteristics.

from components as important as the
braking system, PEUGEOT selects
a n d o f f e r s q u i t e s p e c i fi c p r o d u c t s .
To prevent damage to the electrical
units, high pressure washing of the
engine compartment is strictly pro-
hibited .
At the start of winter, have
your battery checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Refer to the servicing book-
let for information on the re-
placement interval for these
components.
Depending on the environment (dusty
atmosphere...) and the use of the ve-
hicle (urban driving...), change them
twice as often, if necessary (refer to
the "Engines" paragraph).
A c l o g g e d p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t fi l -
ter may have an adverse effect on the
performance of the air conditioning sys-
tem and produce unpleasant odours.
To check the main levels
and certain components,
in accordance with the
manufacturer’s servic-
ing schedule, refer to the pages of
the servicing booklet which corre-
spond to your vehicle’s engine.
Following prolonged opera-
tion of the vehicle at very
low speed or at idle, you
may, in exceptional circum-
stances, notice steam coming from
the exhaust during acceleration. This
has no effect on the performance of
the vehicle or on the environment.
