•Turn the bulb holder anticlockwiseand pull out.
•Turn the bulb under slightpressure anticlockwise andremove it.
•Replace the bulb.
When installing, pay attention to theguide tabs.

Note:When replacing the cover,ensure that no wires are trapped atthe seals and that the clips engagewith a distinct click.
Release the clips and remove thecover.

Remove the rubber caps.

•Carefully remove the bulb fromthe holder.

Side repeaters

1.Carefully remove the siderepeater.
2.Hold the bulb holder, turn thehousing anti-clockwise andremove it.
3.Remove the bulb.
Side repeater indicator onexterior mirrors

WARNING
The retainer tabs on the edgeof the scull cap are verydelicate. When removing andreinstalling the scull cap, take carenot to break them off.
Remove the scull cap by prising it outat the lower edge.
Insert your finger (or a screwdriver)into the hole and unhook theretaining clip. Remove the lampassembly.

Carefully prise out the lamp assemblyat the outer edge and pull it out.
Turn the lamp housing anticlockwiseand remove it. Pull the bulb out.
Install in the reverse order.

Central brake lamp
Consult an expert.
Number plate lamp
5 watt festoon
Loosen the two screws, and removethe lamp assembly.
Install in the reverse order.
Interior and reading lamps
Switch off the lights.
Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver intothe recess between the body of theunit and the lens at the opposite sideto the switches. Gently prise out thelens a short way. Take hold of theside of the lens and lift it off the unit.

Remove and replace the bulb.
Snap the lens back onto the unit.
Reading lamps

Turn the bulb holders anticlockwiseto remove.

Gently prize the unit out of the roofsurround on the opposite side to theswitches using a flat-bladedscrewdriver in the recess and releasethe metal spring clip.
Turn the bulb holders anti-clockwiseto remove.
Vanity mirror lamps
5 watt wedge base bulb
Prise out the assembly with aflat-bladed screwdriver. Remove andreplace the bulb. Snap the assemblyback into the surround locating edgeopposite the switch first.
Luggage compartmentlamp

A choice of eleven languages areavailable.
Scroll to this display using the rotarycontrol and press the SET/RESETbutton to select the desiredlanguage. Turn the rotary control tosave the setting and exit the menu.
Clock setting
Note:This display is only present onvehicles equipped with aprogrammable auxiliary heater butno Ford audio or navigation system.If the vehicle is equipped with a Fordaudio or navigation system, the timeis set on the audio or navigationsystem. See separate audio ornavigation handbook.
Scroll to this display using the rotarycontrol and press SET/RESET. Thehours start to flash and can be setusing the rotary control.
Press the SET/RESET button toconfirm the setting and move to theminutes.
Proceed in the same way to set theminutes and the date.
After setting the year and pressingSET/RESET, the time and date arestored.
Units of measure
To toggle between metric andimperial units, scroll to this display andpress the SET/RESET button.
Toggling the units of measure usingthis display will affect the followingdisplays:
•Distance to empty
•Average fuel consumption
•Instantaneous fuel consumption
•Average speed
•Outside air temperature
•The temperature display in theautomatic climate control.
The units of measure for outside airtemperature and the automaticclimate control can be toggledindependent of the other displays.See General information (page96).
