The warning light turns on in the follow-
ing circumstances.
Engine oil pressure
sensor failure
The warning light comes on when the en-
gine oil pressure sensor is faulty. Contact
Fiat Dealership as soon as possible.
Inertial fuel cut-off switch
intervened
The warning light comes on when the in-
ertial fuel cut-off switch is triggered.
The display will show the dedicated mes-
sage.

EXTERNAL LIGHT
FAILURE (amber)
The warning light turns on
when one of the following lights
is failing:
– sidelights
– brake lights
– rear fog guards
– direction indicators.
The failure referring to these lights could
be: one or more blown bulbs, a blown
protection fuse or an electric connection
cut-off.
On certain versions the dedicated message
is displayed.

REAR FOG LIGHTS
(amber)
The warning light turns on
when the rear fog lights are turned on.

Rain sensor failure

The warning light on the dial turns on

❒for versions with alloy wheels, remo-
ve the press-fitted hub cap;
❒loosen the bolts on the wheel to be
replaced by one turn;
❒turn the ring nut to extend the jack
partly;
❒position the jack near the lift support
closest to the wheel to be changed at
the points shown in fig. 3. For short
wheelbase versions with a retractablefootboard, the jack must be positio-
ned at the lift point shown in fig. 4ali-
gned (45°) so that it does not interfe-
re with the retractable footboard;
❒warn anybody nearby that the vehicle
is about to be lifted. They must stay
clear and not touch the vehicle until
it is back on the ground. Lift the vehi-
cle.After lifting the vehicle:
❒for all versions, when gaining access via
the vehicle’s right rear wheel arch fig.
5a, adjust the screw for the wheel re-
taining device, using the spanner pro-
vided with the extension/adaptor A-
fig. 5b;
❒introduce the wheel wrench and turn
anti-clockwise to allow the lowering
of the spare wheel.
❒continue turning anti-clockwise until
the stop point, signalled by the harde-
ning of the manoeuvre or a click from
the clutch present in the device.

To replace a bulb proceed as follows:
❒open the rear swing door and loosen
the two fastening screws A;
❒disconnect the central electric con-
nector B and pull the lens unit out-
wards;
❒loosen the screws using the screw-
driver provided Cand remove the
bulb holder;
❒remove the bulb to replace D, E, For
Gpushing it slightly and turning it
counterclockwise (“bayonet” clamp-
ing) and replace it;
❒refit the bulb holder and tighten the
screws C;
❒reconnect the electric connector B,
suitably refit the unit to the vehicle
body and then tighten the fastening
screws A.

replace the bulbs:
I: reversing light bulb (left side); revers-
ing light bulb (right side);
L: bulb for side light;
M: bulb for brake light;

To replace a bulb, proceed as follows:
❒take up position to the rear of the side
bumper;
❒unscrew lower fastening Abetween
the central and side bumper fig. 30b;
❒after removing the tail-light, unscrew
upper fastening B-fig. 30b;
❒unscrew both fastenings Con the rear
side-hinged door side and open the
door slightly fig. 30c;
❒unscrew the three side fastenings D
on the side panel side, which are ac-
cessible after removing the side
moulding fig. 30c. To remove the
moulding, unscrew the three lower
self-tapping bolts and carefully remove
the spring clips to avoid breaking
them. If one or more spring clips
break, they must be replaced;
❒remove the bulb holder unit;
❒turn bulb holder Eanticlockwise (1/8
turn), remove the bayonet bulb by
pressing in slightly and turning anti-
clockwise, then replace fig. 30d.

new bulb is correctly clamped between
the contacts;
❒re-close the protection lid E-fig. 37
and secure light D-fig. 36into its
housing locking it properly.
