A - Headlamp wash
Provided the dipped beams are on, pull the control stalk towards you : screen wash will then be ac-companied by a timed sweep of the wipers as well as by a head-lamp wash.
Check that the front and rear wipers are able to operate freely if you are using a bicycle carrier, for example.
If the windscreen is frozen when you are starting a journey, ma ke sure that you de-ice it before using the front and rear wipers.
Remove any accumulation of snow from the base of the windscreen.
B - Rear screen wipe
Rear screen wipewill deployautomatically, provided the windscreen wipers are operating, when you engage reverse gear.
Activation / deactivation of this function is possible via the “Personalisation - C o n fi g u r a t i o n ” m e n u i n t h e “ M a i n m e n u ” .
Note : Deactivation may be essential if you install a bicycle-carrier on t he tailgate.
Stop.
Intermittent rear screen wipe.
Timed rear screen wash and wipe.

For safety, these ma-noeuvres should not be performed while the vehi-cle is in motion.
FRONT SEAT BELTS
Fastening
Pull the belt down in front of you in a steady movement, making sure that it does not become twisted.
Press the fastening into its buckle.
Check that it is properly secured and that the automatic locking mechanism operates correctly by pulling sharply on the belt strap.
The abdominal part of the strap should be positioned as low down as possible in the lap and as tight as possible.
ADJUSTING THE STEERING
WHEEL
The steering wheel can be adjusted for height and reach. WITH THE VEHICLE STATION-ARY , fi r s t a d j u s t y o u r s e a t t o t h e most suitable position, then adjust the position of the steering wheel. Unlock the steering wheel by pulling the control A towards you. AAdjust the position of the steering wheel then lock it by pushing the c o n t r o l fi r m l y b a c k i n t o i t s i n i t i a l l o -cation.
Note : I f y o u p r e s s fi r m l y o n y o u r steering wheel after locking, a small click may be heard.

S E A T B E L T A D J U S T M E N T
The chest part should be posi-tioned if possible in the channel of the shoulder.
Each belt has a reel that adjusts its length automatically to the girth of the seat occupant.
Height adjustment
The correct positioning of the seat belt reel is around mid-shoulder level.
To adjust the belt, pinch the con-trol and slide it in the direction re-quired.
Unfastening
To unfasten the belt, press on the red button in the buckle.
The belt retracts automatically when not in use.

Activation / Deactivation
You can activate/deactivate the parking assistance by pressing cont
rol A. If the parking assistance is inactive, the warning lamp is on.
Activation or deactivation of the parking assistance is memorised wh en you stop the vehicle.

- The proximity sensors will not be able to detect obstacles that are situated immediately below or abo ve the bumpers.
- A thin object such as a spike, or a bollard or other similar object, will be detected only at the start of the manœuvre, not when the vehicle has arrived up close.
- In bad weather or in winter, make sure that the sensors are n ot covered by dirt, or by ice or snow.

“CINEMA SEAT" POSITION
This position allows you to free up s p a c e b e t w e e n t h e fi r s t r o w a n d the second row.
Pull the control E under the seat.
Note : This position is only pos-sible with the lateral seats.
ACCESS TO THE THIRD ROW SEATS
The third-row seats can be accessed via the lateral second-row seats.
1. Pull the control E. The seat un-locks and the seat base comes up against the backrest.
2. Hold the control E in the raised position, pushing forwards. The whole slides towards the front seat.
3. Raise and lock the rigid plate.
Space becomes free behind the seat, the third-row passengers can get to their seats.
To exit the third-row seat positions :
1. Hold the control E in the raised position. The seat unlocks and the seat base comes up against the backrest.
2. Push the seat backrest, still holding the control E in the raised position.
Note : if the table on the back of t h e fi r s t - r o w s e a t i s d o w n , c l o s e i t to enable this operation.
Repositioning the seat,
from the exterior,
with the door open
If there are passengers seated in the third row :
1. Manually return the assembly as far as possible rearwards. The seat does not return as far as the maximum rearwards position, so as to retain leg space for the third-row pas-sengers.
2. Fold the seat base.

CONCERTINA PLATES
Two rigid concertina plates, which cannot be separated from the ve-hicle, cover the 2 third-row seats, when these are in the folded posi-tion.
To fold the concertina plates :
Pull on the control, the 3 sections of the plate will fold like a concer-tina.
When the third-row seats are up-right, these concertina plates can be left either :
- fl a t b e h i n d t h e s e a t s ,
- in the vertical position,
thereby leaving a storage area available.
TO RETURN THE SEATS TO
THE UPRIGHT POSITION
1. Return the second-row rigid plates to their initial position and lock them.
2. Having folded your concer-tina plate, pull on the control F located behind the seat backrest. The backrest pivots rearwards, pulling the seat base with it. The seat locks in the open position.
TO STOW THE SEATS
1. Return the second-row rigid plates to their initial position and lock them.2. Lower the head restraints.3. Correctly position the concer-tina plate vertically behind the seat.4. Pull on the control G located at the bottom of the seat back-rest. The seat unlocks.5. Next push the backrest gently forwards. The backrest pivots, folding onto the seat base. The seat base then folds into the stowage area provided for that purpose.6. Reposition the concertinaplates over the folded seats.
Before moving the third-row seats, return the rigid plates of the second-row seats to the upright position and lock them.
D o n o t t r y t o f o l d a t h i r d - r o w s e a t t h a t h a s n o t fi r s t h a d t h e b a c k r e s t f u l l y locked in place.
Do not leave objects either on or underneath the seat bases of the third-row seats when you are folding them.
Do not leave your hand on the control G as you fold the seats, as you r i s k t r a p p i n g y o u r fi n g e r s .

A Lounge version is available in the 5 seater model. This has two se-cond-row seats that are identical to t h e fi r s t - r o w s e a t s , p r o v i d i n g g r e a t e r comfort for rear passengers.
ADJUSTING THE SEATS
The seats have the following adjust-ments :
- head-restraint adjustment,
- backrest angle,
- greater longitudinal adjustment,
- height-adjustable armrests.

LUGGAGE COVER BEHIND
THE SEATS
A fl e x i b l e l u g g a g e c o v e r p o s i t i o -ned behind the second-row seats enables you to prevent objects from sliding under or between the second-two seats, as well as concealing the contents of your boot from outside view.
I t i s fi x e d t o t h e fl o o r b y t w o h o o k s located behind the seats and an-chored at special points on the rear pillars.
T h i s fl e x i b l e l u g g a g e c o v e r i s m o -vable and can be rolled up for stowage behind the second-row seats.
SEAT BELTS
For safety reasons, always attach your seat belt before positioning the armrest between yourself and the door.
STORAGE POCKETS
Two storage pockets are located on the insides of the Lounge ver-sion seats.

1. Open the cover A.

3. B r i n g t h e b e l t t o n g u e s u p t o t h e r e l a y r i n g B.
4. Insert the attachment then p a s s t h e t o n g u e s t h r o u g h t h e r i n g .
5. Reclose the cover A. Make s u r e t h a t t h e b e l t i s c o r r e c t l y positioned in the recess in the cover provided for this pur-pose.
