Tailgate release
This enables the tailgate to be unlocked
in the event of a central locking fault.
- Fold back the rear seats to gain access to the tailgate release from
inside the boot.
- Remove the plastic cap from the opening A in the tailgate interior
pillar. SUNROOF
Complete opening
With the ignition on, push the control
rearwards (in the direction 1 ).

Operation
Complete closing
With the ignition on, push the control
forwards (in the direction 2 ).

Temporary stop
To stop opening or closing, press
part 3 of the control or push the
control in the opposite direction.
Partial opening
To open , with the ignition on, press
part 3 of the control.
The rear part of the sunroof opens.
To close , with the ignition on, press
part
3 of the control.
The rear part of the sunroof closes.
- Move the control B to the right to
unlock and open the tailgate. The sunroof stops automatically just
before complete opening. Push the
control again for complete opening.
System which improves the ventilation
and light in the passenger compartment.

LIGHTS STALK
Main lighting
The various front and rear lights of
the vehicle are designed to adapt the
driver’s visibility progressively in relation
to the climatic conditions:
- side lights, to be seen,
- dipped headlamps to see without dazzling other drivers,
- main beam headlamps to see clearly when the road is clear.
Additional lighting
O t h e r l i g h t s a r e i n s t a l l e d t o f u l fi l t h e r e -
quirements of particular driving condi-
tions:
- rear fog lamps to be seen from a distance,
- front fog lamps for even better visibility,
- daytime lights to be seen during the day. Manual controls
The lighting commands are issued di-
rectly by the driver by means of the ring
A and the lever B . lights off,
automatic switching on of the
lights,
side lights only,
B. lever for inversion of the lights by
pulling: dipped headlamps / main
beam headlamps.
In the lights off and side lights modes,
the driver can switch on the main beam
h e a d l a m p s d i r e c t l y ( “ h e a d l a m p fl a s h ” )
for as long as he pulls the lever.

Front and rear fog lamps

The fog lamps operate with the dipped
and main beam headlamps. front and rear fog lamps
To switch on the front fog lamps,
turn the push ring C forwards one
notch.
To switch on the rear fog lamps, turn
the push ring C forwards two notch-
es.
To switch off the front fog lamps,
turn the push ring C rearwards one
notch.
To switch off the rear fog lamps,
turn the push ring C rearwards two
notches.
The ring C returns to its initial position
automatically.
The front fog lamps are switched on au-
tomatically when you switch on the rear
fog lamps.
The rear fog lamps are switched off
automatically when you switch off the
dipped/main beam headlamps or the
front fog lamps.
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e l i g h t s ,
the rear fog lamps can be switched on
even if the lights stalk is in the “OFF”
position. In good or rainy weather, both
day and night, the front fog
lamps and the rear fog lamps
are prohibited. In these situations,
the power of their beams may dazzle
other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front
fog lamps and the rear fog lamps
when they are no longer necessary.
Lights on buzzer
The triggering of an audible signal
when the driver’s door is opened
warns the driver that he has forgot-
ten to switch off his vehicle’s lights,
with the ignition off.
In this case, switching off the lights
stops the audible signal.
If condensation is present, it is advis-
able to switch the headlamps on for a
few minutes in order to clear it.
