The exterior lights flash each time you

If you want to set the def ault settings,

the SEL/RESET button.
To enter the customizing mode,
press and hold the INFO ( / )
button for more than 3 seconds. When DEFAULT ALL is set, you will

seconds, then the screen returns to
CUSTOMIZE ENTRY.

The knob on the instrument panel
controls the brightness of the instru-
ment panel lights. Turn the knob to
adjust the brightness.
Separate adjustments can be made
when the headlights are on and of f .To reduce glare at night, the
instrument panel illumination dims
when you turn the light switch to the
or position.
You will hear a beep when maximum
or minimum brightness is reached.
You will also hear a beep when the
maximum level is canceled by
turning the knob a click to the lef t. The level of brightness is shown on
the multi-information display while
you adjust it. It goes out 5 seconds
af ter you f inish adjusting.

Each f ront door has a master door
lock switch. Either switch locks and
unlocks all doors and the tailgate.
Push the top of the switch to lock all
doors and the tailgate; push the
bottom to unlock them.Each door has a lock tab next to the
inside door handle. When you pull
backward on the lock tab on the
driver’s door, all the doors and the
tailgate lock. Pushing f orward on the
lock tab on the driver’s door unlocks
only that door. The lock tab on the
each passenger’s door locks and
unlocks only that door.When the door is unlocked, you can
seetheredindicatoronthelocktab
next to the inside door handle.
All doors and the tailgate can be
locked f rom the outside by using the
key in the driver’s door lock. To
unlock only the driver’s door, insert
the key, turn the key, and release it.
The remaining doors and the tailgate
unlock when you turn the key a
second time within a f ew seconds.
You can change the ‘‘DOOR LOCK
MODE’’ setting on the multi-
inf ormation display (see page ).

When you press the UNLOCK
button, the ceiling lights (if the f ront
and rear ceiling light switches are in
the door activated position) will
come on. If you do not open any door,
the lights stay on for about 30
seconds, then f ade out. If you relock
the doors with the remote
transmitter before 30 seconds have
elapsed, the lights go of f
immediately.
Press this button once to
lock all doors and the tailgate. Some
exterior lights will f lash. When you
push LOCK twice within 5 seconds,
you will hear a beep to verify that the
doors and tailgate are locked and the
security system has set. This button
does not work if any door or tailgate
is not f ully closed.
To change the ‘‘KEYLESS LOCK
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT’’ setting,
see page . Press this button once
to unlock the driver’s door. Push it
twice to unlock the other doors.
Some exterior lights will f lash twice
when you push the button. If you do
not open any door or the tailgate
within 30 seconds, they will
automatically relock.

you can use the auto select feature to

seconds. It stores the f requencies of
six AM and twelve FM stations in
the preset bars (1 6).
You will see ‘‘0’’ displayed if auto
