Tachometer
Indication
Thetachometershowstheenginespeedinrevolutionsperminute(rpm).Thebeginningoftheredmarksattherightendofthescaleindicatesthemaximumpermissibleenginerpm.Aspeedlimiterpreventstheenginefrombeingoverrevvedduringacceleration.Beforereachingthisarea,thenexthighergearshouldbeselected.Shifttothenextlowergearwhentheenginerpmdropsbelow1,500rpm.
Caution!
Toavoidsevereenginedamage.
Alwaysobservetheenginerpmbeforedown-shiftingtoalowergear,soyoudonotexceedthemaximumenginerpm.

–Whenyougetoutofthecar,thelightsareturnedonforapprox.30secondsafterthedoorisopened.Theoff-delaytimeresumeswhenthevehicleislocked.OnvehicleswiththeSportChronoPackagePlus,thePCMcanbeusedtosettheoff-delaytime.Thissettingalsochangesthelightingperiodforunlockingthevehicle.Pleaseobservethechapter“IndividualMemory”intheseparatePCMoperatinginstructions.

Avoidrunningthewiperbladesoveradrywindshieldtopreventscratchingtheglass.Spraywasherfluidonthewindshieldfirst.Ascratchedwindshieldwillreducevisibility.
