2.Insertthescrewdriverintotheopeninginthewheelhousinglinerparalleltotheturnsignalhousing(indirectionoftravel).Bypressingwiththescrewdriver,disengagethesecuringspringoftheturnsignalhousing.
3.Swivelouttheindicatorlightandundobulbholder(bayonetlock).
4.Removethebulbfromtheholderandreplaceit.Insertholder.Checkoperationofthelight.
5.Inserttheturnsignal’sretaininglugsAintothesidesectionatthefront.PushinturnsignaluntilthesecuringspringBisfelttoengage.
6.Pressthecapintothewheelhousingliner.

Theadjustmentismadewiththevehiclereadytodriveandthefueltankcompletelyfilled.
Thedriver’sseatmustbeloadedbyapersonora165lbs.(75kg)weightandthetirepressuresmustmeettheprescribedvalues.Afterbeingloaded,thecarmustberolledafewmeterssothatthesuspensioncansettle.
Forcheckingtheheadlightadjustment,theverticalpositionofthecutoffofthelowbeam(seefig.)hastobeprojectedonaverticalscreen(wall)indistanceof24.6ft.(7.5m)fromthefrontlensoftheheadlamp.Thecorrectpositionofthecutoffis2in.(5cm)at24.6ft.or7.5m(0.4)belowahorizontalline,xin.(cm)fromgroundtothecenteroftheheadlamplens.
