COMFORT
Manual Dual Zone Climate
Controls (if equipped)
Select airflow source
• Turn the Mode knob on the right of
the climate control panel to thedesired setting:
( ) Instrument panel vents
( ) Instrument panel vents and
floor vents
( ) Floor vents
( ) Floor, windshield and side
window vents
( ) Windshield and side window
vents
Raise or lower fan speed
• Turn the fan control knob ( ) on the
left of the climate control panel.
Adjust the dual temperature controls
• Use the lever on the left hand side of
the climate control panel to adjust the
temperature on the driver’s side ofthe vehicle.
• Use the right hand lever to adjust the
temperature on the front passenger’s
side of the vehicle and the tempera
ture for the second row.
Cool the vehicle interior more quickly
on very hot days
• Open the windows just long enough
to let the hot air escape.
• Choose the coolest temperature
setting.
• Activate the Recirculate ( ) and
A/C ( ) buttons.
•Place the A/C mode knob in the Vent
( ) mode.
Recirculate interior air and prevent
outside air from entering your vehicle
•Press the Recirculate ( ) button.
This feature can be activated while in
the Vent or Bi Level mode, but not inDefog, Defrost or Floor mode.
Turn on the rear window defogger
•Press the rear window defogger
(REAR) button.
•The indicator light on the button will
come on to let you know the rear
window defogger is active.

Recirculate interior air and prevent
outside air from entering your vehicle
• Press the Recirculate ( ) button.
This feature can be activated while in
the Vent or Bi Level mode, but not inDefog, Defrost or Floor mode.
Clear the windshield and front side
windows of fog or frost more quickly
• Press the button and adjust the
fan speed.
Clear the rear glass of fog or frost
more quickly, and activate the heatedoutside rearview mirrors (if equipped)
• Press the Rear button.
• The indicator light on the button will
come on to let you know the rear
window defogger is active.
Automatic Operation
In the automatic mode, the system
will automatically control the inside temperature, air delivery mode and the fan speed to achieve your set temperature as quickly as possible.
1. Press the AUTO button.2.Set the driver’s and passenger’s
temperatures.

indicated on the display. Mode selec

•Press the upper or lower portion of
the fan control ( ) button.
Manually adjust the dual temperature
controls
• Use the knob on the left hand side of
the climate control panel to adjust the
temperature on the driver’s side ofthe vehicle. Use the right hand knob
to adjust the temperature on the pas
senger’s side of the vehicle as well
as the second row.
• To match and link the passenger side
temperature to the driver’s, press and
hold the AUTO button for three seconds.

Heated, Power Outside Mirrors
(if equipped)
Activate heat feature on the power
outside mirrors
• Press the rear window defogger
button on the climate control panel.

Outside Mirror with Curb View
Assist (if equipped)
This feature automatically adjusts the
passenger side mirror downward to apreset tilt position when the vehicle is in
Reverse gear. The mirror returns to itsnormal position when the vehicle ismoved out of Reverse. See your OwnerManual to activate this system for thefirst time.

Interior Lamps
Your vehicle is equipped with illuminated
entry and exit lighting as well as domelamps.
Activate illuminated entry feature
• Open a door or press the Unlock
button on your Remote Keyless Entry
transmitter.
• With all doors closed, the dome
lamps stay illuminated briefly and turn
off automatically.
Disable entry and exit lighting
•Push in the Dome Lamp Override
button located below the exteriorlamps switch (see “A” above). This
will override the illuminated entry fea ture unless the Remote Keyless Entrytransmitter is used to unlock the
vehicle. The Dome Lamp Overridefeature is useful when the vehicledoors need to be open for a longperiod of time.

Luggage Carrier (if equipped)
Slide the crossrails to desired
position
1. Pull up the lever on each side of the
crossrail. This will release the cross rail and allow you to slide it.
2. When the crossrail is where you want
it, press down on the levers to lock itin place.
Reduce wind noise when the roof
luggage carrier is not in use
• Position the rear crossrail at the
rearmost position and the front crossrail above the rearmost portionof the rear door opening (above the C pillar).

Note:Never carry anything on the vehi
cle roof that is longer or wider than theluggage carrier itself. (Examples: ply
wood, paneling, a mattress.) The load
could be violently torn off, causing you
or others to have a collision.
Loading cargo that weighs more than
220 pounds (100 kg) on the luggagecarrier may damage your vehicle.
Universal Home Remote
(if equipped)
The Universal Home Remote is a com
bined universal transmitter and receiverthat can activate up to three devices,such as garage door openers, entrydoor locks, gates and security systems.
It’s recommended that you read the
instructions in your Owner Manual com
pletely before attempting to program any
of the three channels on the Universal
Home Remote. The engine should beturned off when programming the
remote.
See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.
Note:Do not use the Universal Home
Remote with any garage door openerthat does not have the “stop and
reverse” feature or any opener manu
factured before April 1, 1982.
Sun Visors
Block glare
• To help block the sun’s glare, rotate
the sun visor down.
• Block the driver or passenger front
side window glare by turning the sunvisor to the side window.
• Pull out the sun visor extender (if
equipped) for additional window coverage.
