❒remove the transparent cover A-fig.
28from bulb holder (it is pressure-fit-
ted);
❒remove the bulb Band replace it;
❒ refit the lens.
❒loosen cover C-fig. 30and remove the
connector D;
❒release clip E-fig. 31and remove the
bulb F;
❒refit by reversing the above mentioned
operations. FRONT FOG LIGHTS
(where provided)
To change the halogen bulb, proceed as
follows:
❒slacken the two fog light fastening
screws A-fig. 29on the bumper;
❒slacken the two fog light fastening
screws Bunder the bumper;
❒remove the protection including the fog
light and remove the connector;

❒on right hand drive versions, re-
versing light in the left rear light
cluster and in the rear fog lamp in
the right rear light cluster;
E12V-21W bulb for direction indica-

F12V-21/5W double-light bulb for stop
light and taillights;
❒slacken the four screws B-fig. 33from
their seats;
❒remove the bulb-holder C;
❒remove the bulbs, pushing them slight-
ly anti-clockwise;
❒refit by reversing the above mentioned
operations.

To change the bulb proceed as follows:
❒slacken the three screws A-fig. 32
from their seats, pull gently outwards
until releasing the whole headlight from
the three clips (press-fitted) and release
the connector;

taining spring as shown in fig. 35;

remove the whole cover;

move the light unit;

IF A FUSE BLOWS
GENERAL fig. 45
The fuse is a protective device for the
electric system: it comes into action (i.e.
it cuts off) mainly due to a fault or im-
proper action on the system.
When a device does not work, check the
efficiency of its fuse: the conductor ele-
ment Amust be intact. If not, replace the
fuse with one of the same amp rating
(same colour).
Bundamaged fuse.
Cfuse with damaged filament.
To facilitate fuse replacement, use the pli-
ers Dhooked to the fusebox on the in-
strument panel left-hand side.
Refer to the tables on the following pages
to identify the protection fuse.
❒open the bulb cover B-fig. 44and re-
place the pressure-fitted bulb C;
❒refit the cover Bon the transparent;
❒refit correctly the light pressing one
side and then the other until the lock-
ing click is heard.

Never replace a fuse with
metal wires or anything else.
Never replace a fuse with
another with a higher amp
rating; DANGER OF FIRE.

If a general fuse (MEGA-
FUSE, MIDI-FUSE, MAXI-

pair and contact a Fiat Dealership.
